The Washington Post.......covering itself in crap once again

Now, you KNOW that this article is a pile of shit, right off of the bat, for four reasons, readily identifiable in the two opening paragraphs.

1.    It is in the Washington Post and critical of Trump (I think they have an entire staff section, the “Trump Derangement Syndrome” desk, devoted to this type of “reportage”). 2.   It is an article covering Obama (actually, Obama’s comments on ANOTHER article, written by 148 black Americans that served in the Obama administration.  This would hardly be news in the real world, but hey, this is the WAPO we are talking of. 3.   It starts off saying that Obama rarely comments on current politics. 4.   It keeps the mantra of racial divide alive.

So, you can see that it is the perfect, anti-Trump hit job.

Let’s take a look at some of the “Hey kettle, meet pot” fantasy literature.

First, the author starts off with the strong, obligatory racial divisiveness, and a pretty standard, leftist effort to confuse the issue.  "We are African Americans, we are patriots, and we refuse to sit idly by," the former Obama administration officials vowed to stand up against the "racism, sexism, homophobia and xenophobia . . . wielded by the president and any elected official complicit in the poisoning of our democracy."  The thing is that, nobody has ever said that black Americans are not patriots….I have served with some very fine black officers and soldiers, and their patriotism was never in question.  So, when President Trump went off on “The Squad”, four women who have nothing in common except that they are women, ignorant and fairly stupid, his remarks had nothing to do with racism, or sexism, or homophobia, or xenophobia”.  As a matter of fact, I defy any thinking individual to draw a line between something that the President says, and connect it to one of those ills for which he is accused. Without changing definitions or the conversation, I don’t think it can be done.

"There is truly nothing more un-American than calling on fellow citizens to leave our country - by citing their immigrant roots, or ancestry, or their unwillingness to sit in quiet obedience while democracy is being undermined."  We do not need to re-hash the “democracy v. republic” argument….there are some people that will never get it or chose to not get it.  But this “pot calling the kettle black” is a little much to swallow without choking.  These “authors”, wrote this article based on their experiences in an Obama administration that undermined everything in the nation.  I mean, I know that the progressives have been working against the spirit and sometimes the letter of the Constitution since before the ink was dry, but this nutbag revolution we are seeing now, ANTIFA, mayors and governors sacrificing their citizenry for illegal aliens, the LBGTQMNOP movement that the media insists is sweeping the nation, STARTED under Obama.  It was Obama and his minions that drove the wedge into the sectors in this nation.  It was Obama that told the great lie (actually, multiple great lies) of Obamacare (supported by media outlets such as the WAPO).  It was Obama that made it clear, through the bureaucracy, that your qualifications DID include your ethnicity, and increasingly your sexual orientation, as much or more.  It was the rising tide of progressivism under Obama that cemented the grievance class hierarchy, by Balkanizing the nation.  For these authors to claim that democracy is being undermined sounds more like one of their own job descriptions, and less like an indictment of President Trump.

Second……this idea that Obama rarely comments on current politics, in addition to being a LIE, is ludicrous.  That is all that man (I can call him a man…..right?) has done since he left office….here in the US, more appallingly abroad where his global elitist attitude is worshipped.  He has never missed a chance to crap on President Trump, by name or inference.  Additionally, since he has been out of office, Obama has worked surreptitiously to ensure that the progressives return to power.  He has SEVERAL, well financed operations aimed at installing the socialist dream. Additionally, this idea that twenty-plus democrat candidates for the party presidential nomination has led to Obama fading away from the public eye in order to not draw attention to himself is complete and utter bullshit.  We saw eight years of his self love narcissism, the idea that he would back off now flies directly in the eye of what he has proven to be.

Third, and you gotta love this…..But those who worked for him wrote that watching up close as racism surged during and after the first black presidency, "provided jet-fuel for our activism, especially in moments such as these."  Really?  I think I addressed this already, but just in case……when the first black President surrounds himself with anti-American advisors, and a racist attorney general (two), and racist “Czar’s”, and trash talks the nation throughout the world, I think it is fair to say that “moments such as these” were institutionalized under that first black President.

I am sure that the Washington Post thinks it is covering itself in glory with this sort of hero worship drivel.  But if I had said or written something like this, my mother would have washed my mouth out with soap….or beat my ass, for lying.

14 is greater than 1.....or maybe not

This past week, a Saint Louis native and Old Miss student, Alexandria Kostial was murdered in Mississippi by a fellow student.  It didn’t take long before the cops caught the bastard, who has already been arraigned and, if I was a democrat, I would declare him to be certainly guilty.  By all accounts, Kostial, who was attending summer school and teaching fitness class, was a lovely young girl, a great student, very active and with a lot of promise.  Pictures of her reflect a very pretty, blonde young lady.

Her story has been all over the local news….every day for a week.  Last night there was a huge candle light vigil for her in Saint Louis.  I think her funeral is today (I might be wrong on that point).  Now, before I go forward, be reminded that I am a 57 year old WHITE guy, 6’2”, blue eyed and sandy, light brown (and gray) hair.  I don’t live in Saint Louis, but I can see the arch on the river from my neighborhood, which is predominately white (and geriatric, I might add).  


So my view on what follows should put to bed the idea of “white privilege”.

In the last three weeks…..21 days…..fourteen black children and young teens have been murdered in Saint Louis.  At least one of them was ahigh school super athlete with a very bright future.  The story makes the news for one news cycle….one.  The story is updated whenever another body drops, and the story is then repeated once.  There has been no coverage of the mandatory, and largely useless, vigils or pleas for the guilty to come forward.  Fourteen children and teens in 21 days.

Wall to wall coverage of a  tragedy involving some dickhead murdering a lovely young white girl 300 miles from home, and a one off for 14 murdered children…..the murders themselves a tragedy, but the failure to cover them, as big a tragedy.

Am I the only one that thinks that this is jacked up?  Now, don’t get me wrong….if I am not going to STL to go to the zoo, Cardinal Nation or the Arch, I ain’t going to STL……and when I DO go….it is with  Mr Sig Sauer on my hip.  The place is a liberal led, crime infested shithole, with more murders per capita than Detroit.  The northern part of the city is the worst, but there are other parts that are also isolated Little Big Horn shooting districts.  But 14 children, ALL of them black, in 21 days, in the Gateway to the West, completely overshadowed as news, by the murder of a single white girl?  This cannot be right.

I mentioned this to Janet while we were watching the news this morning, and she got a little fired up.  Does the murder of a pretty, white, Saint Louis native, in Mississippi get more ratings than covering the murder of the fourteen black kids in their own city?  Is it a better story?

How could it be?  Why is Saint Louis not in a daily public outrage over the 14 murders, while everyone is heartbroken about the one?  Is it racial?

The answer is that it might be racial, and this is the problem in Saint Louis….the 14 murders are not connected.  There has been one arrest in one of the cases.  All of the children and teens were black.  Almost all of the murders were random shootings (I don’t think more than one or two of them have been determined to be targeted), and in the areas where the shootings took place, the community is not known for liking cops, even black cops.  And this entire scenario is not new to Saint Louis.  Of one thing we can be certain; no police officer was involved in any of the shootings or the entire city would be on fire.

I think I know the solution to this, but that would involve an entire book to address….and I have a building project to get back to.

As an American, with a fairly strong sense of right and wrong (having done plenty of both), I AM angered at the death of the white girl…..but I am enraged that 14 black children have been murdered in the city, and it got virtually no coverage.

That is my whitie view.

Look at what God has done

Ahhhh….the great Midwest.  People ridicule me in the way I find such beauty and elegance in the fly over states. When I lived in Kansas, which I did for a total 15 years, I traveled quite a bit through the Midwest, and it is lovely.  Few big cities (Kansas City is not considered a large city, Saint Louis is a shell of its’ former self due to 50 years of progressive “Leadership”….Chicago is a shit hole that needs to be moved to New York).

Last Sunday I had a flat tire on the way to work….AAA came and pulled the tire (it was not repairable), and put the “full sized spare” on…..which is a 17” wheel, which is full sized I guess….except my truck has 20” wheels….so I limped home on the back roads, which took me through A LOT of cornfields.  The corn is SO tall, green and healthy…..and by the fall, farmers will be working like Santas. Elves on the harvest…..and it was great….it just made me FEEL great….I actually know people that are going to bust their asses planting and harvesting…to feed the nation.  And driving the country roads, looking at it was just overwhelming.

And I get home and my wife had sent me this article….and it is a marvel itself.

Someone once told me that they were constantly looking for evidence of Gods hand in life, trying to find a focal point for their “meditation and reflection.”  I told her to just drive out of town a half hour, take a seat in the dirt, look at the rolling plains, covered in corn, or (depending on the season) beans….and you will see God, you will see a focal point for your meditation…look at those men and sometimes boys, working their asses off to get the crops to your table.

My Georgia son thinks that my devotion to the Midwest is humorous.  But just take a look at what God, working through people, can do.

And if you want too….meditate on that.

The goal is simply to de-construct America, not because there is a problem, but because they WANT TO.  AOC, her chief of staff, the cabal of freshmen congressbitches DO NOT like the America they were elected to serve.  They should not be in office and they are a classic example of leftist ignorance….what they advocate, and the New Green Deal is a great example, has never, ever, EVER worked in the history of man, unless under the boot of a murderous dictator.  They are traitors to the constitution, but these useless, ignorant, un-distinguished usurpers, having never accomplished jack, want you to believe that a universally discredited political/economic system will work, under them.

AOC and her running jackals are frauds, and a classic example of someone whose opinions do not count.  It doesn’t mean they aren’t dangerous. They are…..they obviously got there because of the idiots in their districts don’t know anything, and will clearly believe anything…..but it does mean that they should be marginalized and eliminated from the public sector, from the government at any level.

I think we will call this piece “The Enslavement of Free Stuff”.  And I think that is appropriate because all of the candidates in the hunt for the democrat candidate for President, the losers dead out of the gate, like DeBlasio (My GOD what a shit that person is), is offering all sort of free stuff….college, elimination of college debt, healthcare for illegal aliens (and US citizens if they get around too it), a new freebie in reparations, and now, Kamala Harris has proposed another untold millions for affordable housing for black Americans.   And do not forget global climate change/warming/cooling or whatever

If it sounds insane, it is.  Ignore ALL, I mean EVERY SINGLE ISSUE IN THE WORLD, in order to pander to a balkanized America by offering free.  Well…this just in….and it will come to a shocker to the left…..there is no “free”.  I know, I know……shocking as it may seem, someone has to pay for things….for ALL things. 

Lets’ start with “free college”.  Who in the hell thought up this idea?  Why?  What is the purpose of “free college”.  Do we not have enough people with massive student loan debt in “fields” in which they will never have a career, let alone a job?  I saw about 400 of them graduate at my youngest kids college graduation.  How many corporations need a staff member “educated” in “Radical Feminist African-American Studies in a Star Wars Environment?”  I am guessing none, or a maximum of one.  What we NEED is frigging plumbers, carpenters, electricians, welders.  But “free college”, is nothing more than transferring the cost of college from the person attending college, to someone who may or may not have attended college, and is WORKING for money (because work doesn’t get for free).

So, free college is nothing more than more tax on the working people.

And so is the forgiveness of student loans.  I paid mine (which were not much at all), BOTH times, and now I am going to be on the hook for anothers?  Not only is that a tax, because loans don’t just go away, but it will be crippling to the nation.  If it is true that the national student loan debt is $1.5 TRILLION, passing that along to the working tax payer would be devastating….and for the record, you KNOW the government would jack that program up.

Health care for illegal aliens?  Why?  I know Bernie is fond of pointing to Canada as the poster child for socialized medicine, but Bernie is frankly, and maybe knowingly, lying to you.  Every Canadian I know, and every Canadian I have ever heard call into any radio program, says the program is great as long as you don’t get sick.  And we saw the absolute abortion that Obamacare made of the “healthcare for all”….in the end, someone has to pay for someone else to have something that they don’t pay for; and that pill was hard enough to swallow when we were paying just for Americans….now we are to pay for illegal aliens?  Man, I am in the wrong gig.

One sure way to endear a leftist to the leftist part of the black voting block is to promise them more free stuff, and NOTHING will spark the rage needed better, than promising to take whities money and give it to them…..in the form of racist driven reparations.  Again…..where does the money come from?  This is just another form of welfare and it has no source but the taxpayer.

The $100 million in a black Americans (I am ASSUMING citizenship will be a requirement, but I KNOW that it won’t be) to buy houses.  That shit worked great right up to the time people actually had to pay for mortgages, and when they couldn’t do it….guess who at it?  The taxpayer.  WHY would we ever do that again?  Because it works?  No, specifically because it does NOT work, and the democrats can buy votes with your tax dollars.

You see it right?  The reality…..There is no free ride, no free chicken, no free anything, if you want a productive society, a modern society….N-O-T-H-I-N-G is free….nothing.  Doctors are not going to treat major medical issues for free.  Builders are not going to build houses for free.  College professors are not going to teach for free (though about 90% of them DO need to return to school).  Debt just doesn’t go away…if a company eats a debt it is because they fee that they can and still be productive, but usually they pass it along to their other customer.

And under the rule of the new democrats….who WILL come out as communist after they win, here is the new national order.  There will be no winners and losers, we will all be losers.  As with the Obama economy, those that have “enough money” will give for those that do not have “enough money”.  My insurance will not cover a liver transplant because we have to cover anothers ingrown toe nails.  Combined state, city, local and federal taxes will likely be at about 85% to pay for every moron to go to college for SOMETHING, ensuring we all get NOTHING of value in education.  Nobody will have any debt, but we will have nothing in return.  When one of us is cold, we will all be cold, when one is hungry, we will all be hungry…..we will have and have access to what the government says we can have and have access too.  And just like in Illinois, CA, NY…..nothing will get better…..the government will be the new God.

We will be slaves to “free”….and we will hate each other for it, because the true meaning of these liberal “freebies”, is not to solve a problem, but merely to make everyone share the problem.

If a democrat ever wins national elected office, we as a nation are doomed.  We have seen their future, in Venezuela, Cuba, the USSR, Bernies’ Canada and the UK.  But don’t worry….as in China, abortion will not be a hard fought for right to kill another….it will be mandatory.

But back to the leader of Florida’s clown circus.  Frederica, in addition to her colorful costumes, has quite the spectacular record.  She has accused Trump of not liking black people (I am sure that is just her), despite the fact that all actual evidence of the accusation shows the opposite.  She has been a vocal critic of most things in America, most recently, of course, the required liberal accusations of criminality and inhumanity on our southern border by our own authorities.  She is almost a an actual advocate of not supporting the military of the veterans of the military (reports indicate that she votes against MOST veteran bills and Veterans Administration reform actions, but in researching her, I could find NO instance in which she voted for ANY bill supporting the military or the veterans).  Like most democrats she opposes anything that would be considered an improvement over the progressive status quo and like all of the current leftards in congress, puts the interests of others ahead of those of the US citizen.  Like most democrats in congress, she is a public, open critic of President Trump and is as guilty as them all in publicly ridiculing him, and most of his supporters.

So…..exactly what would make this person think that she is above the same treatment?  I mean, relatively speaking, her electorate is far smaller than President Trumps….why should SHE be able to ridicule him, and his supporters (or even his non-supporters), NOT be allowed to ridicule her?  Be honest….her mere APPEARANCE should be a source of endless ridicule.

For you and me, normal Americans of all colors and faiths, raised in families that worked, sometimes worked hard, studied hard, actually learned things (like history….or even ‘civics’ springs to mind), Frederica Wilson is an embarrassment to the nation.  I would say she was an embarrassment to congress, but that has been shown to be a pretty high bar to reach after 2018.

It is people like Wilson, Omar, AOC, and a slew of congress people that have taken the helm in that body, that have robbed that body of its’ dignity, of its’ legitimacy, almost of its’ constitutional role.  I know everybody that thinks will think that Wilsons’ comments about prosecuting critics is an attack on the first amendment, and it is….the left is firm in their belief that the first amendment is for them and for them to use against those who disagree with them, that is not in question.  But I believe that Wilsons’ comments are far deeper than that.  It strains credulity, which is another high bar with todays’ left.  I listen to her and think “sane people don’t think like that”.  More and more I think that these people have no business in government (they don’t), but would be far better suited in the mental ward of a government run hospital (they would want it on the taxpayer).  These people DESERVE to be mocked.  Everything they do flies in the face of basic intellect, thought processes, responsibility and accountability.  If it were not against the law, WE the people should prosecute THEM.

If Donald Trump was not the US President I truly believe that the Washington Post would either go out of business or be about a page in length….because the paper seems to depend on its’ anti-Trump vitriol to stay in business.  Here is the latest offering from this rag, dealing with, you got it, the participation of President Trump in the Fourth of July ceremonies on the DC Mall grounds.

This article is the THIRD anti-Trump / Fourth of July article run by the Washington Post in three days.  And they are not alone….the democrats in congress are lined up to denounce that the President of the US wants a few armored vehicles on the mall for the celebration of American Independence.  “Diverting resources”, they claim, “More appropriate for a banana republic (like their buddies in Cuba and Venezuela), they say.  “Politicizing an American holiday that should not be….” They rail.

So….step by step….shall we?

“Diverting resources….”.  SERIOUSLY?  The democrats, who are now politicizing the crisis at the border, which they have been denying existed for MONTHS, and will provide not one dime for border security…..they are concerned about diverting resources?  Here is a little insight for you….the vehicles made the trip from Georgia, to DC, and were offloaded from a train in DC, before this first story broke…..before the democrats saw that they could cast orange man as evil, on this issue.  Those vehicles cost the taxpayers the same number of dollars in the motor pool as in DC.  The train that carried them had other, non-military related goods on them….this was a zero sum game for the government and the military.  You wouldn’t KNOW that if you listened to MSNBC and CNN or read the WAPO, but this is LITERALLY a non event.  And what soldier would not be proud to be with his hardware on the mall on the fourth of July?  None that I know of.  Those soldiers will get their holiday given back to them, and probably get a medal hung on them.  This flak is media driven and seized on by the progtards in congress….it literally is sound and fury, with no substance…..but again, the nation hating left has the stage and you would never know it.

“More appropriate for a banana republic…..”.  Ironic since the left is working like Santa’s elves to turn the nation into a fruit basket.  WHEN did showcasing the greatness of the nation become a sin?  We did it for YEARS after the Civil War that the left insisted on fighting.  We did it after WWI.  We did it AGAIN, and in a big way after WWII (who does not remember the iconic shot of the sailor kissing the woman in Times Square on VJ day?).  Although we disrespected our Korean and Vietnam vets, we did it again after Operation Desert Storm.  When did this become a bad thing?  And in Korea, which was referenced in some progasses comments, they roll their vehicles down the road….they are not merely displays.

“Politicizing an American holiday….”  Let’s be clear….if this is being politicized it is because that is the way the left wants it….and that is the way they are getting it, thanks to the media and the hatred of Trump by the left in this nation.  There is not a fourth of July parade in the nation that does not include contingents from the fire and police departments, the VFW, the local JROTC unit, and THE US MILITARY!!  I have never heard a liberal bitch about any of those, and I live in Illinois…..the liberal bitch capitol of the Midwest (don’t move here….EVER).

All of this bitching is a result of Trump Derangement Syndrom, a full blown and incurable case…..and the media and their puppets in congress are pushing it hard…..and there is literally nothing to see here.

Listen….the eight year apology tour ended when the door to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue hit Obama and his fellow Marxists in the ass in January 2017.  Warts, moles, flaws and all (and most are in congress, the media and the education system), we are the greatest country in civilization and should never apologize to anyone for that.
