I confess to not having voted for a single politician of any stripe when I recently moved to Illinois….for two major reasons….one is that I actually had to start work BEFORE I moved to Illinois and had exactly zero time to navigate the state or arcane shit needed to document my residency (being a US citizen and not an illegal alien, DOES have its’ challenges).  The other is that my choices really were limited to a democrat who knows nothing about successful leadership, and a republican that only pretends too.  In the state legislature, the man who has held state office longer than any other elected state official IN THE NATION, makes sure that the only thing on the agenda is failure and taxation.

There are good people in this state….I mean, seriously, there are GOOD people here; I know some, I work with some, and, despite their protestations to the contrary, I am related to some.  A number of them are liberals but there is some sanity sprinkled in there…..and you can hear it when you talk to them.  The people of Illinois are defeated.  The farmers and manufacturers of the central and south are defeated….they have no voice.  People that work for a living cannot be the ones responsible for voting for the policies of our state legislature…it would spell defeat in everything in which they believe. 

And in this state, it doesn’t matter the party as long as it is the democrat party…..this is a failed state, failed across the board.  And a lot of us are innocent….I have absolutely ZERO culpability in what this state, county, city government does….I do however have 100% responsibility for funding it.  It does not matter for whom I vote, or what the agenda may be…once that person goes to Springfield, what I want doesn’t matter.

There is no way out for Illinois….or as my acquaintances call it “Ill-Annoy”.  No matter how high the taxes go, Illinois will get no better, because although the state is damned near bankrupt, it isn’t about the money.  For our politicians, this state, the forests, the businesses, the farms, the industry, and most of all, the people, are a piggy bank…..

Do I love my house?  I do.  I like the town in which I live, and my neighbors are great…..it is a very grown up situation and at 57 I actually think I need that.  But this state, this city, has it’s hand in every single thing connected to your life….some of it is good (like a very generous major appliance recycling program) and some inane (cannot burn your yard waste, must buy special bags for disposal and must pay for it to be disposed).

And nothing is going to get better….nothing CAN get better.  If Illinois is a failed state, and I believe it is, then it is only going to get worse.  Let me share something with you.  I was trying to unfasten an idiot proof quick connect on our fridge (yes, I am the wrong person to be addressing idiot proof items, and yes, it is the SAME DAMNED FRIDGE that Lowes cannot get right….so we know this is going to end SPLENDIDLY).  This piece of five year old, Asian technology was kicking my ass, so I called Janet in and she did it at the first touch.  She looked at me and said “Well, I knew what you were doing wasn’t working, so I didn’t try that.”  And the point of THAT little story is that “if what you are doing is not working….don’t do that anymore.”

Illinois keeps doing the same thing over, and over, and over again……at all levels of government…..and they keep getting the same results…..deeper in debt, more corruption, less value for the (more) tax dollars.  But in Illinois, we have no real choices…..like I said up front….I didn’t vote for anyone in Illinois…..and it wouldn’t matter if I had….because nothing will change.  We know how to fix things, we just don’t have leadership that cares to fix things….or doesn’t realize how broken the state is.  Thanks to illegal immigration, the population of the once United States is accelerating at an alarming pace.  Yet, due to taxes and government, Illinois is one of eight states LOSING population (this year, the 5^th losing year in a row, almost 50,000 people will flee).  There is no future here for people looking to the future.

And I know that is what the ruling class of Illinois wants, that is the way they want it….that is the way the left across the nation wants it.  And I don’t know if the headline to this article is exactly correct…..it is not necessarily the government we chose……

…..more like what the government that is chosen insists on giving the people.

I will live here until I die, this is where the family is…..and that is fine…but this state is a direct reflection of corrupt liberalism……and it should serve as a lesson to the nation…..keep voting liberal…..and you will suffer under the government you chose.

So, Deputy Scott Peterson, the armed deputy on duty at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on the day that Nikolas Cruz went ballistic, and who HID while Cruz killed 17 people, petitioned the judge in a lawsuit brought by one or more of the parents, to rule that he, Peterson, had no legal duty to protect the students during the crazy persons’ rampage.

WTF?

I mean, seriously……what the hell could his thought process have been?

Dude….YOU are a deputy sheriff, albeit one of a crooked sheriffs department, but nonetheless, you are a sworn law enforcement officer.  THAT means that you carry a weapon….that is what “sworn” implies.  And I get it, the weapon is primarily for your protection BUT….it is also to be used for the protection of civilians in harms way.  As part of protecting people in harms way that means you have to put yourself in harms way….you know…..do something honorable, risk your life for a greater good.

In this case, the lives of 17 innocents.

You RUN to the sound of the guns…..you do not hide.

Of COURSE you have a legal obligation to protect those people….if there was no obligation then that school clearly did not need your ass hanging out, oogling high school kids.

And my hat is off to the judge who apparently gave this motion the attention it was due, that it warranted.  And I don’t say that lightly; you never know with our courts and judges mistaking their role with that of a legislator.  If the judge had ruled that the armed deputy, school resource officer, WHOSE JOB is to protect the safety of the school occupants and the security of the grounds, had no legal obligation to do just that, I would have been no more surprised than if New Jersey passed a state law prohibiting local law enforcement from cooperating with ICE (sorry, I got off track there…..that is a different story).  But this time at least, that judge ruled correctly.

Listen, I am nobody’s hero, not to my kids, not to my family, not to me….but a fundamental of being a man is that when the shit hits the fan, you GO TO THE FAN.  You march, you run, you fly, you ride TO the sound of trouble, to the sound of the guns.  It is what men do…..and if you are an armed law enforcement officer…..you have the moral and legal obligation to do that very thing.  I know personally but a handful of law enforcement officers well…..and to the man, I cannot imagine a one of them even THINKING that their role was anything other than a moral, legal, and personal obligation to protect.

Former deputy Petersen…..he only diminishes himself more by asking to be excused for not doing his duty.

Get your acorn around that one for a moment……CHUCK TODD, one of the most biased, bigoted, and to hear him speak on almost ANY topic, uninformed humans ON THE PLANET, thinks that YOU were gullible, and that the MEDIA was biased towards Trump.  I mean, I get it, the left are MASTERS at projection….but this borders on the line of a mental disability.  Has Todd forgotten that he IS the media, and that he and his fellow ‘tards on MSNBC and CNN and in the print media literally abandoned journalistic integrity and decided, vocally and unabashedly that it was their DUTY to ensure that Clinton was elected?  Did THAT reality slip his mind?  Did he simply over look the FACT that over 90% of ALL political coverage during the primaries and the general election was negative towards Trump?  OR….and this is the one that should boggle your mind, that a full 88% of all televised news coverage of the general election, every single day, 88% or more of all on air time was aimed at promoting Hillary?  I agree with Todd that the media was biased, and he should know it, because he helped bias it, AGAINST Trump.

And what about that Alzheimers’ patient at large, Andrea Mitchell?  She acknowledged that Clinton made “mistakes that were self-inflicted,” but continued to lay blame on the “unfairness of the media,” James Comey and the Russians.  What Mitchell calls “making mistakes” by Clinton is what you would call telling lies if she were a member of your family (heaven forbid).  See, that is what lying is….a self inflicted mistake.  When you are a money hungry, morally adrift, loathsome person, lying as easily as a priest recites a “Hail Mary” IS self inflicted.  And the Russians?  Today, two years after the left decided to not accept the gullible peoples’ Constitutional election of Donald Trump, two years after the left STARTED the Russian canard, there is no evidence at all that any voter was influenced by the Russians or that the President had any contact with Russians concerning the election.   As a matter of fact, I am surprised that the investigation has gone on for two years, two years in which every single issue looked at has reflected poorly on the left, and indicate that if anyone was corrupt in the election it was the people that lost it.  “I think [Hillary Clinton] had her opportunities and, for whatever happened externally from Comey and the Russians and a lot of other things, and the unfairness of the media, the conventional media putting so much attention on Trump and squeezing out the legitimately serious stuff she did.”  Thus speaks a woman that has clearly not been on her meds, or NEEDS to be on some much stronger stuff.

Of course, all that is over looked or ignored by Mitchell, and Todd….because they MUST overlook a fundamental reality…..they suck.  Their message sucks, they as leaders suck, their ideals and goals are antithetical to America, to our Constitution and our laws.  And….since they cannot accept that, they grant themselves air and internet time, and print media space to chastise you for the ADACITY to think for yourselves.

These people are dangerous….because trust me, they are infecting the brains of the people behind you, your kids and grandkids generation.

A friend of mine, on these pages, wrote that we would be stupid if we thought people like Todd, Ocasio-Cortez, Maxine Waters, Chris Matthews, that dickhead Cuomo (pick anyone you chose) were stupid….these people BELIEVE……and to use one of their favorite tools; projection, they believe in their bullshit like the NAZI’s believed in theirs.  They BELIEVE you are stupid.  More and more they show it, and they don’t try and disguise it.  The world outside of the east and west coast does not exist; the nation is composed of about 38 flyover states that ONLY matter because there are major cities to be destroyed (Saint Louis, KC, Memphis, Denver……) and taxes to be wrung out of Americans for the overthrow of America…..these people are dangerous PRECISELY because they DO believe.

So, you are a grad student, which puts you in your 20’s.  PRESUMABLY that makes you a fairly smart person (though there is plenty of evidence these days that you may be a liberal, know nothing, asswipe).  As an adult, of legal age, you share an apartment with two peers.  Those peers decide to search your room one day, violating what courts have REPEATEDLY ruled to be your 4^th amendment, inviolate rights, and discover one or more weapons that you legally own, and are licensed to have/carry.  Those two snowflakes shit their fruit of the looms, confront you on your gun ownership, report you, for a violation of nothing, to apartment management, which then evicts you.

This story is so unbelievable, not that it happened in America, that is becoming more and more believable as we see the rise of a generation with absolutely no roots in reality….but that it happened at all.

I mentioned above that the courts have repeatedly ruled that your room in a hotel, your house, your room in an apartment (separate from a common area), is YOUR space and as such, protected by the Constitution.  Granted that protection is from government in any form, but it has also been extended to unwarranted searches by management, and by extension your idiot roommate’s.  And their reasons for searching the roommate’s room?  Well hell…..she was from Alabama so they just figured that she must have something.

So….you searched her room for no other reason than you figured she may have something?  You were looking for nothing particular, you just thought she might have something?  Booze?  Drugs?  Money?  What would you have done if you found something OTHER than guns?  Report her for booze?  Still a legal product, still owned legally by a legal person…..so what then.  Of course that explanation is bullshit, it is all bullshit….but that is the argument that these two pansies used to have their roommate evicted.

Oh, on the eviction issue.

The management says that the eviction is for no other reason than because it makes the other tenants uncomfortable.  Wonder why he didn’t evict THEM?  Who knows what will make them uncomfortable next?  A republican in the apartment next door?  And to rub salt in the wound the management said that the young lady being wronged here would be FURTHER wronged by being held accountable for the lost rents of the people that moved out because of their fear of guns.

I suppose management would go to court to ask for financial redress.  That would be a good thing, because if I were the student, management would be in court already for violating my rights.

WHAT sort of jacked up adults are we raising?  You know what scares me?  Guns don’t scare me….assholes with guns SHOOTING at me, with me not able to shoot back….THAT scares me.  People breaking in my house, waking me up before the alarm goes off, and me with no gun…THAT scares me.  Having a Mexican drug lord holding a blow torch to my nads….THAT scares me….but the existence of a gun, a gun in my presence, a legally trained, fully authorized gun owner, THAT does not scare me.

Apparently I need to add sissie leftists to the list of crap that scares me.    And check this out; “We discussed with Leyla that all of us are uncomfortable with having firearms in the house, and that their presence causes anxiety and deprives us of the quiet enjoyment of the premise to which we are entitled,” one roommate wrote in an email obtained by the Washington Free Beacon (emphasis my own).  When in the HELL did “quiet enjoyment” become an entitlement for which you could infringe on anothers rights?

NOW YOU SEE why arguing, nay, discussing things with a liberal is so difficult.  Their heads are SO far up their ass that normal people can LITERALLY not find a starting point.  How do you argue with authority (the property management), that understands that you are lawful, legal, in accordance and have violated NO laws or rules, but throws your ass out anyhow, not being political of course, because someone else is scared?

Your REAL problem is General Motors

I haven’t heard many of you weigh in on this issue, and the ones that DID weigh in on it did so marginally, or from a view point that left me feeling that some really don’t understand…….”things”.  That issue is the announcement by GM that it intends to shutter some plants, at least one being in a state critical to President Trumps future as the leader of a nation of idiots.

Let’s take the democrat bombast out of this right away…..democrats would endure anything to ruin the President and the nation, and putting a few thousand people out of work by closing their plants is a small price to pay; I am sure that the left feels like it can get enough illegal voters, immigrants and terrorists in the nation to pick up the slack.  So let’s ignore this.  And, for the record, I get that a lot of you do not like Trumps’ tone.  I personally don’t care about his tone, I have worked for a lot of tactless people, and I myself have been accused of being a bit abrupt at times…..and I don’t think that matters as long as he is producing……face it, a lot of people he deals with need to be talked down to REGULARLY, so I don’t care….but I get it that you do.

General Motors, like the other big two of the big three car makers, suffered from YEARS of bad management, and gang rape by the UAW and its’ partners…..and I am not talking about the rank and file; if you want me to pay me $45 an hour and a pension and benefits for driving a forklift or installing a windshield…. I AM GOING TO DO IT.  I am no fan of unions, which I DO think had a role in the early 1900’s.  But union roles have largely been co-opted by the government (except for those wild ass salaries), so I ain’t feeling the love.  

Any research you do on the fall of Detroit, the car manufacturers, and US industry as a whole, places plenty of blame on the manufacturers, as well as on unions that frankly didn’t care as long as they were getting theirs’.  I WHOLEHEARTEDLY disagree with the bail out of two of the three automakers (and I drive a vehicle from one of those two).  I also disagree with the bailout of the investment banks….but that is another story.  And I DEFINITELY disagree with the way the Obama administration basically took over GM as part of the bail out.   I listened to a man who had owned a total of 18 GM cars in his life, and was heavily invested in GM, until the bail out saved the unions and cost him 50% of every nickel he had invested in GM….money that was just gone, to pay off the unions. GM and the unions could have avoided all of that, but hey, why bother when the tax payer will pay for it….and NOBODY asked the taxpayer for THEIR input.  So, GM took not only a multi-billion dollar bail out, paid off the unions, closed a bunch of dealerships, and cut the portfolio of their common stockholders in half, they did not change a single management process, the union did not change a process, it was then back to normal operating.  What most people do not know is that GM had struck a deal with the treasury, that allowed slightly less than $10 Billion of the bailout money to be put into GM’s financing arm (basically their bank); General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC), which then promptly changed its’ name to Ally Financial (or was bought by the existing Ally Financial.  That almost $10 Billion was to be used by GM to RE-PAY portions of the original loan to GM.  If it sounds like the taxpayer gave GM billions, then gave them billions to pay back the original billions….that is exactly what it did.  Now you know why experts say that we will never know if GM has actually re-paid ANY of the bail out money.  In the end, GM received around $49 billion in tax payer dollars, some of which it used to re-pay part of that very loan.  To date, the most honest figure I can find is that GM still owes about $15 billion in the original loan…..which there is some doubt will ever be repaid.

As I said, in return for the GM name, the corporation closed a slew of dealerships, actually acquiesced to a CEO put forward by the (then) Obama administration AND….and this is not a commonly known fact, became THE defacto government test bed for cars that, thus far, nobody wants.  That is correct; while demanding that GM operate at a profit, the government, under the libs, requires GM to produce cars that ensure it operates at a loss.  General Motors is now un-officially, “Government Motors”.  Overall, the loss to the government (you and me) for all of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), which INCLUDED the GM bailout (the GM numbers, however are NOT included when discussing the recoup of TARP money owed) is estimated by the Treasury Department, to be $100 Billion.  A total of 30% of that is from the auto-makers.  About 70% of that 30% is from GM.  General Motors, to date, has repaid NO money as a result of profit from sales….none…..zero (I doubt they ever will).  The Treasury Department estimates that “one day”, “in the future”, when General Motors can once again sell its’ stock at a profit (stock that became virtually worthless to the stock holders after the bail out) then it will be able to repay some of the bail out money.

“Some day”, “in the future”, $49 Billion, borrowing money to pay for borrowed money, making cars that won’t sell, changing no processes….this is what happens when the government takes over stuff…..we all lose.

Why do you need to know this?  General Motors took as much money from the government as it costs to put troops on the southern border to protect from the liberal/media promoted illegal immigrant invasion…..which is all over the news regardless of how often it is shown to be a fraud.  The government, the PEOPLE, basically bought GM whether we wanted it or not (I did not)…..and in my mind, the President earned EVERY RIGHT, by virtue of the shitty deal made by his predecessor, to tell the CEO of GM what HE WANTS THEM TO DO.  He hasn’t acted through congress (and he won’t, because if it meant GM being the most dollar producing entity in the history of man, the left would oppose it because President Trump wanted it).  He hasn’t done an executive order, he hasn’t asked for legislation, he has told the CEO of GM what he WANTS to see, and GM should heed that….because they will need help again….because remember, they didn’t change anything.

If you have a problem with GM’s announcement of plant closings, after screwing its’ stockholders, paying off the unions, and returning to business as usual….then you DO have a problem with GM’s announcement of plant closings, and not the Presidents’ tone.  Take President Trump out of it and what you have a problem with is General Motors…..they robbed the nation, in daylight, in public, with government help, then robbed it again to make the first theft less painful, then ensured that they would set themselves up with government help, to rob the nation yet again.

Your problem is not with President Trump, or his tone…..or what he says, your problem is with General Motors.

It beats working......I guess

Yesterday I drove all over creation (okay, this corner of Illinois) looking for something that could have been gotten at Walmart, Home Depot, and of course, Menards (Menards has everything AND the people to help you).  I drove south and started my way north back towards Collinsville, and was pulling through the Home Depot parking lot.

AND I WAS ASSAILED BY A PANHANDLER!!!

And this guy was GOOD. He had tale of woe that SHOULD have worn him an award.  It went like this.

INTRODUCTION: (I suppose a name makes it personal).

STORY LINE:  He and his wife were visiting their daughter, a sophomore at Southern Illinois University; Edwardsville (SIUE), and their cars, BOTH of their cars, ran out of gas right there in the HD parking lot (IN PARKING SPACES NO LESS).  He claimed that neither of his debit cards worked (which I understand CAN happen if you have no frigging money), and all he needed was enough gas to make it home (which is about 30 miles outside of Columbia, MO…which is pretty much in the center of Missouri). 

ME:  “Ummmmm………..no”.

What an IDIOT….and I am sure an idiot that encounters more than a few bigger idiots….and me, being a normal thinker, thought this:  What sort of odd ball child leaves the center of Missouri, home of the University of Missouri, and Columbia College, and fights their way through about a dozen reputable schools to go to ILLINOIS and Southern Illinois University.  And what adult brings two cars across the state, and then runs out of gas and has the misfortune to not have his/her debit card not work?

But, that was more deliberation than was needed for a “no”.

Fifteen minutes from here is a steel plant, closed during the Obama years.  The plant (I think it is a US Steel plant) kept a crew there to keep the lights on, and this past year it opened up and went from about 25 people back to about a thousand is still re-bounding.  This week there were ads in the paper for jobs at that plant….not boilermakers, not engineers, not technicians, just people……for $21 an hour.  Walk in, pass a drug test (increasingly more difficult these days; I get that), and start at $21.  I have every idea that it is back breaking work….I mean, IT IS A STEEL plant, but you don’t have to know crap…..just come to work….that’s it.

And it SURE as hell has to beat panhandling in shin deep snow in 28 degrees in the Home Depot parking lot.

Some people…..but the good news is that the House of Representatives, and before next week is out, probably the Senate, are these kinds of peoples people…..that plant may close and pan handling will be an honorable profession.  In this state it will be unionized and a new protected class established.

Maybe the panhandler is on the cutting edge of something.

All is well in the world today

Well.  Well it has been almost a week since the midterm elections.  Not only is Nancy Pelosi doing a victory lap, but New York elected the first openly economically ignorant AND arrogant congress woman, the democrats elected a female muslim who is demanding the end of Israel, Arizona looks like they may have elected a next generation McCain/Flake in Ms Sinamen (whatever her name is), who is on record for being anti-military as well as anti-border enforcement, and both Georgia an Florida may have elected corrupt, racist socialists, and Florida FOR CERTAIN has a problem in obeying election law…..in other words, a liberal day at the beach for voting.

BUT, there is no fraud, despite the fact that overwhelming leads by Americans are virtually always reduced if not eliminated by “ballatology” that inevitably favors only democrats.

There are also no street standoffs between irate, redneck white men, proto/pseudo NAZI’s or fascists, or anti-abortion Christian fundamentalist.  No conservative sideshow has whipped out an arsenal of “assault weapons” and gone all Rambo on a school yard.  Nobody’s health care has been revoked, women aren’t being groped by roving gangs of judges……as a matter of fact, nothing from the right, projected as happening if every single democrat in the land was not elected re-elected, elevated, promoted, worshipped and deified……has happened.

Clearly all is right in the world again…..the left has won the house and can ramp up their efforts at deconstructing the nation…and that was a close call….who KNEW that all of those damned racist, raping, hayseed Christians were going to ramp it up and vote for Trump?  I mean, the left couldn’t POSSIBLY have realized that there were actually people, Americans, in this country that saw what the left had done and was doing to this nation and were willing to quit having sex with their underaged neighbors long enough to find their way to the polls.  THAT was close.  It has taken two years of the left campaigning against and railing against the system, the law, and the people that prevailed two years ago, in order to get them to last week….where they could take a breath, a short one, before making sure Americans are not ever heard again.

In the House of Representatives the left returned a majority of people that, for two years, have been filmed by and promoted by and campaigned for by the media, preaching against the people.  They promised higher taxes, more liberal judges, more illegal immigration, less law enforcement, less decency, less safety, less defense, more social give aways, more regulation, a return as promised to the days of Obama.  THEY PROMISED to defeat the people, to defeat the nation, to defeat the principles, to re-define the language, to cater to every single splinter idea in order to hold power….and they got enough idiots, or created enough of the idiots, to believe that promise, and that it was better than what they have.

You will hear no more from Madonna and DeNiro, Streisand and Cher……the left is back……serfdom is the new success…..failure and corruption and lying the new cache, the coin of their realm.

The loser is now bigger than a political party, the Americans.  The loser is also not just the people who set the nation back on course, didn’t fix it, but nudged it back on course.  After Tuesday the loser is the world…..we have proven that the media, the liars, the left, the unedjucated, the uninformed, the ones that chose raw, stupid emotion over rational thought and learning, can not just destroy a nation….but destroy the very idea of a nation.  The left has hated the idea of the nation since before the ink dried on the Constitution, and they proved it on Tuesday.

All is well in the world again…..the comeback might take another two, maybe six years….but the left has showed us who our real masters are…

…..as well as what they are willing to do to remain our real masters.

The victory government education over the nation

I have heard many people, smart people, not people in the media or other lefties, but common, working people, ask how in the world it was possible for a democrat to be elected dog catcher last week.  That is a valid question, unless you live in NY, CA or IL where it is a waste of oxygen.  But, rather than analyze the question, I offer you an answer via a real life, no shit, serious conversation that I had with a US Army Colonel on Monday night.  This story DID happen, I was a part of it, and my head still hurts.

So, it was election night.  The only humans on our floor of this huge, joint headquarters, with tentacles around the world are me and a US Army Colonel.  She makes the comment, as she is watching the coverage, that “she cannot believe that the republicans are beating “us” by so much.  I heard that and let it go for a few reasons; she is a colonel and I am a contractor and I do not need that crap sandwich because I would have it force fed to me and shown the door, plus I like the woman, she is a good person.  And I get it, she is a mixed race (black and Algonquin Indian-believe THAT or not- and she is obviously a female and she is from Massachucetts……so there is literally NO breaking through that leftist skull.  But like I said, get past the intellectual disconnect of serving your nation in uniform and being a democrat, she is a good person.  A few moments passed and she said, I think just speaking out loud, “What’s the big deal about the congress?  Congress and the senate are about the same, right?”

She should have said “those ones”, because I damned near stroked out right there.  I composed myself and said “eighth grade civics ma’am.”  She asked me what I meant.  Now, she is a few years younger than me, but not by much.  Most of my peer group is either retired or are 2 and 3 star generals now, so as colonel would be my age junior, meaning that she MUST have had just a little of what you and I think of or remember as “civics”.

I explained to her in painstaking detail the intent of the lower and upper houses of “congress”, including the fact that, technically a “senator”, like a “representative” was also a “congressman”…..a small point but one lost on most people.  I explained the difference in intent, that one represents the interest of the state, the other of the people OF the state, and that the house was the only part of congress that it was specified would be elected “by the people”.  I explained to her the seventeenth amendment and why I thought that was a bad idea.  She listened, she seemed to understand, but I in no way “educated” her.

And I KNOW I in no way educated her, because before we were done, she made the comment that she felt like the democrats offered more “freedom” and she was committed to womens’ “freedom of choice”.

And you cannot, you CAN NOT reason with people of that mindset.  A key element of their development is missing, has been ignored or not even addressed, and that is “edjukation”.  For a leader, a field grade officer, in the US armed forces to interpret socialism as “providing more freedom” is an abomination…..agree or disagree you should at least UNDERSTAND.  Also, to not know the difference and intent of the two houses of the US legislature is also a tragedy, especially if you are voting for either.  AND….and, this problem ONLY gets worse the younger the voter.  The college generation of today would be flabbergasted to know the intent of the federal government, the meaning and the purpose, because their whole life they have been fed a lie, if fed at all.  For them, the XVIIth amendment, which makes both houses a popularity contest among the uninformed, seems perfectly normal.

And bona fide idiots making public pronouncements showing THEIR lack of understanding of the system in which they are in, don’t help.  Wednesday Nancy Pelosi, celebrating the lefts regaining the majority in the House, praised the founders for establishing the legislative branch first among the branches of the government.  Her position was that the fact that the legislative branch was first in the constitution, it was an indicator the importance the founders put on the legislature.  However, even an exhaustive reading of the founders papers would give no indication OTHER THAN the fact that the states already had several, different, legislative bodies, giving the founders something to work with rather than creating something out of whole cloth, as the reason for establishing the legislature first in sequence.  The three branches of government are supposed to be, meant to be, co-equal.

But Pelosi is an idiot….and this colonel is not….you don’t get to be a colonel by being a moron……the military actually considers that a disqualifier (usually).  The colonel is only indoctrinated.

Most likely, like your kids….or possibly, even your family.

Despite that hefty title above, I am going to zip right through this….no need to write even MORE common sense shit that will have ZERO impact.

In 1988 Bush the Elder swore on the campaign trail that you should read his lips….”No New Taxes”.  He promptly back pedaled in 1990 and signed a democrat house budget that was jammed full of new taxes.  How did the left force Bush to become a liar?  Why, the threat of a government shut down of course.  That boogey man that most Americans with a brain could not care any less about.  The left considered, and considers him a hero for hiking taxes.  They considered him so much of a hero that they ran against him with a philandering, likely rapist, former hillbilly governor, steeped in more than a few dishonest dealings and married to a woman only slightly more corrupt than him.  That candidate, Bill Clinton, remarked during and after the campaign that the issues facing the nation could be summarized in the sound bite “It’s the economy stupid”.  I always thought it telling that the left got their tax increases and two years later had to run on the economy….should not the economy have been a non-issue?  For virtually the entirety of the Clinton administration the economy WAS good…fueled in large part by Al Gores invention of the internet.  But the economy was like “The Matrix”, a system on top of a system…..what WE saw was under cut by regulation, the monstrous government Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac scam…..and a system like that, which we saw around 2007 cannot sustain itself…you simply can’t poison the goose and expect it to continue to lay golden eggs.

So, why bother you with all of that?  Good question.  The left cornholed the nation and Bush reneged on his promise, which probably cost him re-election, making him a leftist hero.  In return, the nation as a whole didn’t get shit while setting the stage for Obama, eight years in which the nation got shit on.  Despite what you read from Paul Krugman and Robert Reich, no existing metric indicates that anything Obama and the left did, was good for the economy.  I think that the best thing that can be said is that we didn’t ALL end up homeless AND jobless.  We experienced the worst recovery from the worst economy since numbers have been kept on the issue, and that INCLUDES the great depression under FDR, which history indicates would have been a hell of a lot less severe had it not been for government intervention.  All of his speeches notwithstanding, along with the revisionist history being written on the left daily, cannot change that.

What has changed that is President Trump and his policies…..I can barely spell economix, but what I read, the same indicators used to illustrate the failures of Obama and the left, is good. 

Yet, on Tuesday, thousands, hundred of thousands, maybe millions will go to the polls and vote against their best interests, and the interests of the entire nation.  They will vote for increased taxes, and increased spending, but for no return on the investment.

Today, next week rather, we will see that the left has been stunningly successful in getting people to not look at what is important.

     Thousands of people will vote for women because they actually believe that women tell the truth about the sexual predations of males 100% of the time, and consider an allegation as good as proof and are pissed off that Brett Kavenaugh was not tarred and feathered for something for which there is no proof.

·        Thousands of people will vote for ANYONE that will promise them unfettered, free health care.  They will love the idea “medicare for life.”  They will ignore the reality that THAT promise will require the eliminiation of medicare as we know it, the removal of all private insurance and a tax to provide a government plan called medicare for life, which will break the nation.

·        Thousands of people will vote for the person that promises to accept all comers, regardless of point of origin or intent; you want to come to America, come to America, on our dime.  The news media will tell you that the constitutionalists, those of law and order kill joys, are trying to scare you with stories of importing disease, crime and poverty…..assuming that none of you are currently living among the disease, crime and poverty.

·        Thousands of people will vote for candidates that despise law and order, like the leftist candidate for the governor of Florida, primarily because they are idiots.  Those same people will vote for someone who promises to ban guns, because they were not idiot enough already.

·        College kids around the nation will vote for someone solely because he or she supports LBGTQXYZ (whatever), and thinks that those people deserve all of the rights that they already have.

·        Supporters of ANTIFA will flock to the polls to prove that education and money cannot make you civilized….and they will vote for those who support that.

·        Droves will vote for liberal plans that require increased taxes and promise nothing in return.  Ask yourself, if government, especially liberal government, with its’ hands in your wallet up to the elbow, could FIX crime, shitty public education, crappy college programs, leftist generated racism, un-livable (almost exclusively liberally run) cities, illegal immigration, religious persecution, broken foreign policy….while making America prosperous…..don’t you think it would have happened by now?

And guess what?….It won’t even take a year before the mistake is plain for even Ray Charles to see.  Returning businesses will not, hiring will slow, economic growth will plummet, illegal immigration will cease to exist because the name will be changed, unemployment and crime will be up, the world will be increasingly violent and America will not be nearly as safe as it is.  And all of those people voting for leftards on Tuesday will be scratching their asses and wondering “What happened?  What did Trump do?”  They will never ask what they did.

Cognitive, intellectual dissonance; they will be completely unable or unwilling to confront the reality that, voting for the left, is a vote for their own enslavement.

And two years from now…unable to grasp simple reality, they will do it again.

The Root...professionally crazy

I am beginning to wonder if “The Walking Dead” is a TV show, or a news commentary.

I read something on Face Book today, and before you spew your beer on your keyboard, hear me out.  Some clown, and that is being generous and I am ONLY being generous because he was serious, so I figured he was mentally un-packaged, some clown posted a graph purporting to show that about 90% of all domestic terrorist attacks in the US were by white men (and remarkably poorly planned I might add, because there are A LOT of shitheads that would not be upright if 90% of all domestic terrorist attacks were by thinking, white males…..and you know who you are). 

And like I said, this clown was serious.

His graph was from the black / urban publication “The Root”……and I actually considered subscribing until I realized that the standard mail box can’t hold that much shit.  And “The Root” used as a reference “Google (never, ever biased), an un-named former source at the Department of Homeland Security…..AND….Mother Jones.

No reason to question any of THAT bullshit, is there?

Of course there is….so let’s get started.

Forget the source material….for all I know one or two of the statistics might actually be correct, meaning that the sources did not do their own research.  That said…..what is considered a “Domestic Terrorist?”  And I don’t mean the definition in an Obama sort of way, but  real one?  To say that 90% of all domestic terror attacks are by white males should, on the face of it, mean that all terrorist attacks on US soil, by US citizens are white males….and in a nation that is about 80% white, that could be possible.  BUT….that would mean that a domestic terror attack is not the same as a murder in Saint Louis, East Saint Louis, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, El Paso, New York City, Miami, New Orleans; all places where the vast, VAST majority of murders are committed by non-whites on non-white victims.  Notice that “The Root” did not draw attention to THAT.

Is a “domestic terrorist attack” an attack with a particular kind of weapon?  If you are sprung load to the “AR-15” weapon answer, cool your jets.  As someone pointed out, AGAIN, this week, almost ZERO gun murders are done by someone wielding ANY rifle, and less by those wielding a weapon designed on the AR-15 platform.  SUICIDE claims almost as many annual victims as murder and the good old fashioned ass beating is still the murder leader (albeit delivered with a ball bat or hammer)…..so that cannot be the “domestic terrorist” trigger.

Let’s take a good look at terminology….if you are informed at all, you have heard of the Southern Poverty Law Center.  The SPLC was founded during the civil rights heyday, and unlike most conservatives I am willing to give them the prop that AT ONE TIME the organization had some noble objectives.  However, today the SPLC is a leftist tool, aimed at villainizing the white male and the Constitution.  Don’t take my word for it, you would be an idiot if you did that….read for yourself.  When you look at the statistics compiled and reported by the SPLC, you would think that white males are a black lynching, Jew burning, female raping, thunder monsters.  I gotta admit……the thunder monster thing sounds cool in a DC Comics, Batman sort of way.  That aside……the SPLC, though deeply empowered by, and trusted by the left (they even prepare briefs ahead of hearings on judicial nominees, is far more of a hate group, far more dangerous to the republic than any “hate group” of white males.  The SPLC definition of a domestic terrorist attack will almost, by necessity, focus ONLY on white males…..a fairly useless, though widely used, tool of the left.

Now, the stupidity of the article aside, let’s take it for what it is.  Let me change that; what it wants to be.  President Trump is not a racist, is not an anti-Semite and will never rival Don Lemon for race hatred.  Smart people, and ones on the left sometimes too, do not listen to some IDIOT like Maxine Waters and translate that stupidity into a shooting spree.  All of the efforts of CNN, MSNBC, the other networks and the print media is NOT going to make white males and Christians and Constitutionalist the animals that the left wants them to be…..and you would think that they would learn….these idiots that shoot up others, with the possible exception of the dude that shot Steve Scalise, are not conservatives, no matter how they are reported by the media.  Conservative principles, which are traditionally American principles, don’t motivate people to kill people.  Crazy motivates them.  And it appears to me that the left, and “The Root” should spend a little less time casting the white, conservative male as a terrorists, and start working on the real problems.

Well…….I had the misfortune to work my last shift with an officer that apparently only knows how to find CNN, MSNBC and AMC showing the “Halloween” movie franchise (THOSE epitomize sucky movies, for the record…..to watch one is like watching a poorly acted train wreck unfold before your eyes).

So, once I got past countless minutes of a masked, Hollywood retard hacking his way through humankind despite being shot, blown up, knifed, burned, shot and blown up again….I was treated to the rest of the night of CNN and MSNBC….or, modern, unmasked retards campaigning relentlessly for the overthrow of the President, the nation, the Constitution and pretty much anything comprising sanity.

I would LIKE to say that I understand how the relentless barrage of anti-Trump all of the time, dichotomous hate speech by people preaching the need to stop hate speech can convince sane people of the rightness of the lefts’ cause…but I cannot say that.  If you READ AT ALL…..I mean ANYTHING, about our history (which, let me remind all offended groups IS history), anything about faith and religion, anything related to civics (remember civics?  At one time that was part of public ejukation), about the WORLD….and you have two functioning brain cells to rub together, you would see those two networks, and for the most part all of the rest of the networks are L-Y-I-N-G to you…..they are lying to you.

CNN and MSNBC, and on the written side, WAPO and NYT are lying to you and campaigning relentlessly for…….well, not us.  Those two networks do not even PRETEND to portray facts accurately…..there is ZERO news, it is wall to wall opinion which, like my own, are just like assholes…..we all have them.  Hour after hour of comparisons of the US under republicans to Germany under the NAZI’s (and these people are not NEARLY as clever as they pretend to be, BANKING on the consumer being a moron), of Trump being Hitler incarnate (which I can only imagine would be laughable to the ACTUAL Hitler)…eventually the outrage dies (for me at least) and I go numb.

What are the odds that Larry O’Donnell knows that Joseph Goebbels actually said that the NAZI’s were the LEFT…enemies of capitalism?  Do you think that Don Lemon knows that HE sounds EXACTLY like Reinhard Heydrich when he describes the scourge of white males?  Does anyone on the left realize that their re-defining words and deeds and acts is EXACTLY the way that the NAZI’s gained legitimate power in the Rhiechstag?  How can they look you in the face and report on the antics of ANTIFA and not realize that those shitheads in the streets of America today have more DNA in common with the Brown Shirted SA of the NAZI party than does Elizabeth Warren with a native anything?

And that is what those two networks and those two news rags are….you can literally pick any topic and listen to them report on it, or read about it, and compare it to what your own study and reading informs you, and you would know it.  And AS importantly, their unending, two year assault of decency is keeping you in the dark to REAL shit.  Did anyone know that a Soviet era utility helicopter crashed in Syria, killing five US service personnel?  That happened two days ago.  Did you know that a green on green Afghanistan attack almost got one of our general officers?  That was a week ago.  Here is something more relevant to some….what is the media telling you is the mission of the almost division sized element headed to the southern border.  Did you know that Venice has flooded….that is about the third time in m adult hood that the city built on water has gone under water.  Did you know that the mail bomber that the networks are touting as a Trump supporter was, as is ALWAYS THE CASE, no particular fan of Trump at all?  I guess my point is that there is A LOT happening in the world today that YOU do not know about because you are being guided by people….who…..are….lying….to you.

And let me leave you with this…..I have noticed that every single state and national election commercial I have seen…..and I live in Illinois where for some reason Republicans actually run for office despite the fact that they are democrats, so I see a lot, but every one of them has “affordable health care for all” as a central theme.  The left, that brought you the nightmare of Obamacare has now decided that the successor of a bad plan is a worse plan; government (single payer) health care, or “medicare for all”.  What you do not know, and you should, is that behind the curtain that means that EVERYONE loses their health care plan, that medicare as it is known goes away in favor of a universal plan of rationing that will be known as “medicare”.  The program will consume every single financial asset that exists in this nation; everything you make, everything you have saved, everything…..our military will be competitive with that of Haiti, our technology will be driven by the needs of the government, we will surrender our role as the sole super power in favor of no power……but you do not know that.

As a matter of fact, APPARENTLY Mr Unicorn is SO pro-police accountability that on his watch, the murder rate in Tallahassee is higher than it has ever been in HISTORY.  Likewise, the non-murder violent crime rate in Tallahassee is higher than it has ever been in HISTORY.  And….for a little topping on that ice cream……both those rates are higher than ANY OTHER CITY IN FLORIDA……on his watch.  I didn’t dig deeper, so it is POSSIBLE that during the cocaine years of Sonny and Tubs, Miami had higher rates in those areas…but then Gillum wasn’t the mayor then, was he?

Exactly HOW in the hell, is a law abiding citizen, going to reconcile living as a pop up target in an environment like Tallahassee, how is that person going to reconcile turning the entire state over to an anti-police official who campaigns on enforcing the law through community trust.  I guess for HIM that means that the community can trust that cops under his watch will be no threat to criminals.

And apparently no help to victims.
