Let me….let me….hold forth on something not as divisive as politics…religion……or more appropriately, faith.

This entire scandal with the Catholic Church is a disgrace….it IS…and any efforts to treat it differently should be a disgrace.  For YEARS the closed environment of the Catholic Church has been known, not as a breeding ground for homosexuality and pedophilia, but as an outlet for it.  People do not GROW to be fagtards or pedophiles because they are priests, instead they seek out the priesthood BECAUSE they are fagtards and peds; that whole “which comes first, the homo or the church” thingie.   I believe, and I think I can point to a significant number of writings by the early church fathers, as well as in the gospels themselves, that one of the KEY things of Christianity was the development of the family and an hierarchy which really shunned boning young boys up the dookie shoot.  Did man hijack that?  Yes, “he did”, they were probably early democrats and just shit on one of the main principles.  But that said….officially the Church, and the faith is something that does not encourage or condone that.  We cannot think that a man made rule (and it is) that restricts from marriage also allows them to molest children.

Children, and I have a few and am associated with more than a few are THE future.  This is why I actually lose sleep at night, the thought that we are turning over our future to kids born and raised in liberal shitholes, educated in state schools……the kids are our future…..and I am pretty damned sure that our future is not to be built by kids whose childhood is shattered by a collared man of God that teaches that a homo blow job is the way to heaven.  Call me crazy, but I am just saying.

BUT….and you knew there was one…..BUT….THAT is not the faith.  That is not the faith and that is not the belief.  You see, I actually BELIEVE, for all of my language and failures that Christianity IS the foundation of western civilization.  I BELIEVE that Christ is THE son of an unseen God, born of a virgin, that he came to fulfil the old testament, that he shouldered the sins of all mankind (giving them a chance to live up to a pretty high standard set by his father, which man had previously doinked up).  I BELIEVE that he was crucified to mortal death, buried, arose on the third day and ascended into heaven.  I BELIEVE that.  Science and history support that, but even without that, I BELIEVE that.  And I do NOT believe that part and parcel of the early, and now modern church, was child abuse, bareback donkey riding, homosexuality and pedophilia.  Nowhere is it written, and nowhere is it accepted in the Christian Church.  The book of Leviticus mandates that “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination” (wording varies depending on the translation).  That was one of the mandates to Gods chosen people, along with about 100 others that were repealed in the New Testament and with the new covenant…..I said about 100 others (like, eat pork if you love bacon), but the one that was ABSOLUTELY carried over into Christianity was ”You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination”.  THAT one is still a red flag.

That is not the church.

Your faith is the church….that is why we call if ‘faith’.

If you don’t recall from earlier writings, I studied with an Anglican priest for about a year and as accepted to the seminary.  It was a great deal….stay in the Army, leave Aviation and be a priest, keep my badges, whistles, rank.  When I was approaching the fish or cut bait time I cut bait.  I was CERTAIN that the almighty would strike me dead on the altar, had I tired that.  I knew I COULD be a good priest, but I knew I was NOT a priest.  There are things people in my church, indeed the entire church, does that I find DEEPLY, and I mean DEEP to my core, offensive and not faith based.  I cannot stop that, I tried.  I led the delegation from my parish to vote AGAINST ordaining a gay priest as a bishop.  But THAT is not the faith, that is not the “Church”.

As an Anglican I am a heretic in that I BELIEVE in the foundations of the Catholic Church as well as the catholic church (get the difference?).  The men that defiled that in this latest scandal, or the most current version of it,  are men, they are to be blamed and they SHOULD be blamed and held accountable, and the Cardinals and the Pope should drop the hammer on the entire affair, and if they are complicit, the college of cardinals should drop the hammer on them all.

What has happened in the Church is wrong, it is wrought by man, not by God.

And if you believe, you would know that.

A liberal activist group has pledged one million dollars to defeat Susan Collins, nominal Republican senator from Maine, against ANY candidate that runs against her, IF she votes for Judge Kavenaughs’ confirmation to the supreme court.  You can see that story here, and you should read it to illuminate yourself on what EXACTLY the left will do to get its’ way.

Says a Collins spokesperson “And anybody who thinks these tactics would work on Senator Collins obviously doesn’t know her,” spokeswoman Annie Clark said in a statement. “Senator Collins will make up her mind based on the merits of the nomination. Threats or other attempts to bully her will not play a factor in her decision making whatsoever.”

Au contraire.  Anybody that knows senator Collins and her voting record has EVERY reason to believe that senator Collins would cave into such pressure….she DID after all vote against the repeal of Obamacare, because she maintained that it would endanger the “right” of women to abort a living person right up until the time it started crying outside of the womb…..even though the repeal of Obamacare, like Obamacare itself, had no such provision or stipulation.  Senator Collins is only SLIGHTLY less left than the late Senator McCain….and though she is NOT facing re-election in November, having a million dollars working against you for two years is a powerful incentive.  Collins, who is NO fan of President Trump and never a reliable conservative vote, a million bucks is a serious threat.

And Collins office considers the threat a bribe and she should.  If Collins cotes no to Kavenaugh then the million dollars will not be spent. So, the million is only available to her future opponent if she votes yes. That is something of value offered in return for something of value and that meets the legal definition of a bribe.

Unnnnnllllllessss you are the inappropriately named “Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.”  That organization claims that the deal does NOT equal a bribe because there is “no agreement”.  I suppose that offering money in return for a service is not considered an agreement.  Or maybe the “Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington”……is no such thing.  WHO are these people after all?

Well, to hear them tell it, the “Citizens” are  “nonprofit 501(c)(3) and nonpartisan U.S. government ethics and accountability watchdog” organization.  You need to know that THAT is a lie…..and an easily disprovable lie.  The “Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington”, is a spin off of David Brocks’ “Media Matters”…..one of several, who are directly aligned with the democrat party for the sole purpose of selling the democrat message through smearing any opposing voice, and which rakes in MILLIONS of dollars, 100% of which goes to democrat candidates after Brock and company takes their cut, which is significant.  IF YOU CARE, Sheryl Atkisson lays out Brocks tentacles fairly clearly in her book “The Smear”, and you should NEVER, EVER, E-V-E-R think that anything with Brocks’ name on it is anything other than a left wing attack dog.

So, in this story, you have a candidate who is NOT completely reliable as a conservative vote, who DOES have a record for not voting the will of her constituents, who is up for re-election after the midterms, being offered a bribe by an unscrupulous group, which won’t call it a bribe because there is no “agreement” (I suppose a threat is not as bad as an agreement), in order to prevent the confirmation of a judge who by all accounts has an impeccable reputation as a constitutional judge.

A constitutional judge.

I have referenced that before, right?  That the last thing that the left wants is a constitutional judge.

Will this criminality be allowed?  I dunno…..is Hillary still walking free?  Is Lois Lerner enjoying retirement on your dime?  Is Peter Strozk free?  Eric Holder?  No, nothing will be done about this….but rest assured….at the end of the day, if Susan Collins does not vote yes on Kavenaugh….

……well then…..

This is a good article.  Although I am fairly skeptical of the authors interpretation of Thurgood Marshall’s motivations, based on Marshalls’ later rulings following his elevation to the high court, I think that the focus is correct.  And, I can assure you….though Marshall was once considered a civil rights hero, and an icon of the left…..not one single leftard today will read this article and take away the lesson.

That lesson being to obey the damned law.

Imagine, a leftist TODAY, moving forward with the very first thing in their minds being OBEY THE LAW.  And, in keeping with the authors estimation of Marshalls’ motivations, that a leftist not only moved forward with the first notion on OBEYING THE LAW, but an understanding that the court would be a CO-EQUAL branch of the government…..how GREAT would that be?

Now, and this is just me talking, and I am no Constitutional scholar on the level of, say Kamala Harris, Dick Durbin or Richard Blumenthal, but here is how I think that the framers intended the three branches to act.  Each branch of government had their own power of “review” for that branchs’ actions.  I believe that when John Marshall pulled “Judicial Review” out of his ass, that was a massive power grab that the founders never foresaw.  Be that as it might, we are stuck with about two hundred years of precedent on this, so what can you do?  (BTW….I am not a liberal, I don’t merely THINK that, but believe that through a number of years of study and more than a passing familiarity with the “Federalist Papers”……which, remarkably enough, is still in print in the unabridged version….if you are interested).

Here is the thing, and I think that the left would agree with me at night, lying in the dark of their bedrooms, sucking their thumbs.  People always say, as some sort of defense of the democrats, that the right always picks judges that agree with their ideology, and the left does the same thing, so there is no difference.  But that is a lie, and it is easy to understand the transference of the left on the issue; the left ALWAYS attributes their motivations to others as a way of justifying their own behavior.  The right tends to select judges that enforce the law and interpret it according to the Constitution; the left choses judges that will legislate, or MAKE law, and circumvent the unpleasantness of congressional debate and ultimately save the left from having to own their policies, whom many of their constituents do not want.  It is FOOLISH to think that every liberal supports abortion up to the baby’s first breath.  It is FOOLISH to think that all liberal parents of five year old girls want their daughters in the bathroom with boys.  It is FOOLISH to think that all liberals are so stupid as to buy into the lefts current multi-gender push, or global warming, or college for all, or healthcare on the tax payers dime.  There are, statistically, too many liberals for them to all be retarded……we would notice when we see them in public.  And it would be foolish to think that, if given a chance to vote on those (and other) issues, every liberal would support a candidate who embraces them (though the left has a horrible reputation as single issue voters…..it just depends on the issue at the time).  Dick Durbin didn’t really reveal a secret truth when he advocated sacrificing a few congressional seats in order to focus on getting the SCOTUS pick the left wanted; the left views the court as an extension of its’ participation in the senate and the house.  What they cannot get done through legal means, they will get done through a court packed with, not constitutional judges, but liberal, America last, everything goes, judges.

It is no secret.

Thurgood Marshall WAS right, whether or not he was telling the truth.  The way we have allowed our system to morph, ALL of the states and their people must be subject to the results of judicial review and the high court rulings.  And the left knows and promotes that.  It is far easier to get a judge for life than a senator with America’s best interest at heart, and the left knows that.  If the left had the court it wanted, it would NEVER need a majority in congress.

If the left promoted obeying the law and the Constitution, the senate would never, ever need to have more than an introduction to a nominee, and how that nominee would judge would not be a question; the courts interests, and the lefts interests, and the good of the nation, would all be aligned.

Somehow we have become a nation that, for fully half of us, the facts do not matter, or are not believed, or not understood.  This below, and the entire “taking a knee” among (mostly African American…..what you and I-us whities-would call black.  Turns out almost no white Americans have been to “Whitia” or wherever we would have to have originated to be known as “white Americans) to protest police killings of black people, is an outright lie, with zero foundation in reality.

I think the purveyors of this bullshit must think that they can out live, out last sanity and the truth.  Eventually, when the truth, when the facts, fall on deaf ears long enough (and I think that this has been plenty long enough), that the people TELLING the truth, backed by facts, data and all of that stuff to which the left is allergic, will just get tired of it.  And….over time, the descendants of people that know better, will start to think that “you know…..maybe cops ARE killing black Americans at a disproportionate rate than white Americans (thought they will never come close, EVER, to the rate that blacks kill their fellow blacks….N-E-V-E-R.  Mention that though and you will be a racist for life…..you bastard)…..and it will still be…..a lie.

Listen….don’t take my word for it, because I am a white guy and therefore not qualified to speak on things of color, whether with facts or knowledge, or through study.  As a primer, read Heather MacDonalds’ excellent “The War on Cops”…..start there.  And if you are a statistics weenie, take the footnotes and references in her book and READ the FBI and DOJ statistics…..even ones from when Holder and Lynch were the AG’s and were pro everything but law and order and white…..and the data is there.

And it is not at all pretty, which may be why people on the left, and some black Americans try and keep the “hands up don’t shoot” charade alive.  And I am not getting up to flip through the files right now, so some of this may be dated, but trust me, I intentionally err on the side of generosity.  Black Americans make up no more than 15% of the US population of Americans (and that is an intentionally high number), yet account for about 75% of all violent crimes in the nation (and that is an intentionally low number).  There is no statistical difference between the number of whites and blacks killed by the police throughout the nation.  As a matter of fact, statistics point to the fact that black offenders are shot at LESS by the police because their job is hard enough without being vilified, suspended and generally douched out by the media and society that has bought into the BLM narrative.  Finally, statistics are absolutely firm on this over the past 10 years……black offenders are far more often to be engaged and shot by black cops than white cops….which is a pretty remarkable footnote given that white or “other” cops outnumber black cops by a fairly significant number.

So…..If I were in charge of putting this whole “stop killing us” crap to bed….my RECOMMENDATION would be something similar to what Chris  Rock once said; “Obey the F*&^%$(G law!!!”  Quit shooting at others…..quit taking a page from the Muslim Refugee Handbook (aka the Koran) and burning your crap down, quit shooting at cops, hell, quit shooting at each other.  Stop with the drugs, get a job, ANY job.  Stop “staying at” and get a residence, marry the mother of your child (or the father of your child)…..take the radical step of graduating high school.  Hell, for fun, on a job application, get indignant and mark “white” or “other” for race….you know the deal, the man always says that failure to mark the block will not affect your chances of getting hired…..call ‘em on it (okay….I am kidding with that one…..baby steps).

But at the end of the day……stop living in the fantasy land……and realize that, had you been white and worn that tee shirt in front of cops….they would have beat your ass.

I will, at some point, get to the democrats and their unmasking…..of themselves……and this moment I am a bit nauseous of the Cory Bookers, Diane Feinsteins’ and Kamala Head Up My Ass Harris…..so I need to ferment a little…..but let me talk to another issue.

If you are paying attention you know that the feds have pounced on North Carolina for voter fraud.  The state of North Carolina election officials, currently seats being held through an appointment by a democrat governor (I am just saying), have been caught with thousands of non-citizens on the voter roles, and they voted in the 2016 election, and after being discovered, were allowed to remain on the voter roles.  North Carolina…..a state that you would THINK would be above your typical leftist election fraud, I mean they are not Virginia or New York.  So, the feds are digging into it, this real crime, but don’t expect NC to get punished…..it is not like they were “colluding” or anything…..they were doing it right out in the open.

This whole “citizenship” thingie is a real problem for the left……and the reasons are legion, but in the end the left will stand up for anything and any law other than US citizens and US law.  They don’t want to amend the Constitution, they want to do away with it……they tell you that all of the time.  They don’t want to “abolish ICE”, they want “comprehensive immigration reform”, which will include, as part of it, abolishing the functions of ICE.  You gotta learn the lingo.

But the citizenship thing is easy….the rules are easy.  Yes (or no), everyone doesn’t get to be a citizen…..we have enough crooks and turds in our country now….I think the aforementioned Cory Booker proved that this past week.  I think that, while I was in the service, I helped five US Army soldiers, who enlisted as non-citzens, served the nation for five years, gain their citizenship.  Yes, it took personal attention, phone calls, timely paper work, and even a trip to the embassy on a few occasions….but it got done.  And think about it……is serving the nation in uniform too much of a price to pay for citizenship?  For the right to vote?  For the right to live in peace without having the feds at your door?  For the right to earn and receive the benefits of being an American?

Apparently it is.  For many people, apparently it is.

And I am not sure if it is a generational thing or not.  If it is, it transcends several generations.  Up until Bill Clinton actively dodged the draft, ad was celebrated for it, we expected many or most of our elected officials to have served….if not in combat at least I the country’s uniform.  And with all things, the democrats were hypocritical about it, giving George W Bush shit for having been in the reserve component but welcoming Barrack Obama, a man who would not have served THIS country if called to do so.  Then the left, and the media, the VAST number of whom cannot even report on the military with any accuracy, dove on Trump, a cadet but a person who used a legitimate deferral and did not serve.  And where I am headed with this is……military service ONCE was an entrée of sorts into business, or politics or leadership in general.  And not only does that not seem to be the case anymore, people seem to eschew military service.  John Kerry, years after famously turning his back on his country, successfully parlaying that repugnant behavior into being a democrat senator, encouraged people to stay in school, go to college or else they could end up in Iraq……a comment that could not have endeared him to any voters with kids IN Iraq.  Turns out…..staying in college and wracking up student debt isn’t really a win for anyone either.  I have heard no government official, elected official, advocate any form of military service as an encouragement or part of a pathway to citizenship…..it EXISTS it is simply never referred to as a partial solution to illegal immigration.

How did this happen?  How did our own elected officials, our professors, our children, so easily adopt the Clinton model of raping the nation while offering nothing in return?  Shouldn’t we be ASHAMED?  And don’t get me wrong….there is no REQUIREMENT….and I wish I had some transferrable skills from my time in that I could use now.  I can’t carpenter, plumb or do electricity (I CAN, but you can sure as hell tell that I did it).  I can’t work on my car (I don’t think that is unique given todays cars), I can’t weld……there are tons of things I wish I had just the slightest bit of skill at, that people have to do, that people make a living at (off of people like me), and I admire that.  I have held forth repeatedly on my admiration for farmers, for people that can do skilled labor jobs…..because I cannot.  I am not even sure Mike Rowe could mold this clay.  My point is that you are not a lesser person for not having served.

You ARE a lesser person for feeding off of the nation and giving nothing back.  If you lack the wherewithal, the talent, the skill……the citizenship….JOIN the service, where the uniform.  Prove that you can sacrifice something for a goal…..and I am not talking about the Colin Kaepernick bullshit sort of sacrifice…….but give for little tangible return…..

…..and you might find out you get something out of it…..one thing is certain…..it will make that citizenship thingie a little less onerous.
