Return the courts to the Constitution

Memo to Senator Feinstein and Senator Harris…..YOU don’t get the say on who is nominated to the court.  I get your point…..tradition should rule because you want it, but the Constitution does not require the President to check with you on court nominees…….and despite your best efforts, the Constitution is still the law of the land…at least for now.

Feinstein and Harris, mostly Feinstein, are assed up because President Trump did not consult with them on the suitability, TO THEM, of appointees to the 9^th Circuit court….the least Constitutional and most overturned court in the land. Feinstein goes on, ad nauseam, about the “blue chip” tradition.  A tradition is not law…..ask Harry Reid, that dried up turd from Nevada, how many times did he break “tradition”, or “custom” to ensure that republicans (other than McCain) didn’t get a vote?  One big one that springs to mind is the “deeming” of Obamacare to have passed the senate.  So don’t pretend that tradition, among the left, a sector seeking to destroy ALL traditions in this nation, is sacrosanct…..because that would be just one more leftist lie (and I think, after the last two years, everyone but Adam Schiff has reached their “lie limit”).

The left has spent two decades, minimum, trying to ensure that the courts are loaded with judicial activists….and they have been very successful; so successful in fact that, when a court or judge actually rules Constitutionally, the majority of the nation is shocked, through lack of understanding or merely the realization that some judges still understand their Constitutional role.  It is the JOB of the President to appoint Constitutional judges to the bench and it is the JOB of the senate to confirm those judges UNLESS there is a reason to not.

And that is all there is too it.

So, Let Feinstein fume……she can vent to her Chinese spy chauffeur on her way to her gated estate.

The Big Lie....and its' Big Liar

I would say that ONLY the Washington Post could produce a piece of crap “journalism” like this article….but hell, this is the post factual media world….so who the hell knows?  I could be very wrong.

Isaac Stanley-Becker, in the UK, has penned what may be the most intellectually dishonest piece, among his many, on Congressman Mo Brooks, a republican from Alabama.

Long, crappy story short, Brooks was attacking the left on their two year long use of the “big lie”, origins of which are to be found in Adolf Hitlers “Mein-Kampf” (later also used by the lefts’ ultimate hero, Joseph Stalin).  In essence, one tells a lie BIG enough, often enough……and eventually the drumbeat of the lie will convince many listeners that it is true.  For Hitler, the big lie was that the Jews in Germany were responsible for the loss of the First World War.  Clearly that was a lie and part of preparing the way for the outright murder of six million or more European Jews.

Somehow, dishonestly, Stanley-Becker finds a problem with the big lie theory being leveled at the left and the media, given that, in his mind, you cannot accuse the left of the big lie and anti-semitism at the same time.  And clearly that is not the case.

The left is perfectly capable of being anti-semitic and using the big lie…..without breaking stride.  More than a few of the animals elected to congress in 2018 are openly anti-semitic.  And if you have two brain cells to rub together, you know that for two years the left has been piling on the big lie of Trump-Russia collusion.  This is the party, the “movement” that has no problem with murdering innocents on the day of birth, but oppose the needled for a murderer; dichotomous thinking has never been an issue for the left….it is damned near a requirement.

But there is one paragraph in the article that, if EVERYTHING ELSE was true as written, this paragraph would show the writers bias and lack of intellectual integrity.

Remember this….you are a socialist ONLY until you can move to communism, the ultimate goal of all socialists.  Can there be part of socialism in successful western nations?  So far there is no evidence of if (and please do not use the failed experiements in Sweden and Denmark).  But if the left has its’ way, socialism with ALL of its’ life draining force, will be here in full form…..along with anti-semitism.

But today is supposed to be different.  I understand that this is the day that the democrat “leadership” (forgive the oxymoron) are gonna line up and apologize to the Nation for obstructing the government for the past two plus years.

Additionally, and this is the part I am really looking for, they are supposed to present their own plan for rooting out the corruption that has destroyed their party, all of the little things that have had the light shone on them in the past two years, due to the Mueller probe itself.

And finally, they are supposed to announce how they plan to pay back the US Treasury the $25 million in taxpayer funds that this boondoggle has costs.

It is LITERALLY difficult to know where to dive in first.  I guess CNN is not content to be dishonest, but hypocritical and oblivious are where they are aiming.  So, CNN, AND for that matter MSNBC, two networks who publicly proclaimed the need to cease being journalist in favor of being campaigners for Hillary Clinton because (now) President Trump was “too dangerous”, have, or had no special relationship with Clinton?  Obama?  Or, for that matter, ANY leftard?

How much time did those two networks dedicate to the fact that Clinton paid for the dossier?  How much time did they dedicate to the Uranium one deal?  How much time to he Clinton Global Initiative failures in Haiti (or any other shithole in which that organization has been involved)?  How much time did they dedicate to the fact that Bernie Sanders wife oversaw a multi-million dollar educational boondoggle?  Running guns to Mexico?  The fact that, in the Obama effort to flood the nation with Muslims you could count the number of persecuted Christians admitted to the nation on one hand?  As the left now rails for Donald Trumps tax records, where were these networks when LITERALLY nobody could vouch for Obamas’ academic bonafides?  Where were these two networks, led by CNN, when Obama signed multiple, national emergencies which had nothing to do with this nation, shopped more money that we as people can imagine to Iran to help them build a nuke?

Where was CNN then? 

CNN couldn't even admit fault when they ran the Covington Catholic story, and STUCK WITH IT when the evidence immediately proved they were wrong.  I think it was that ass wipe Stelter who said that sometimes in their search to quickly get stories accurate and released that journalist sometimes get it wrong, before IMMEDIATELY berating a public that dare question the network.

And far from calling them out on it, we accepted it…that is what CNN does.  DAILY. CNN and MSNBC, from the leadership on down to the turds on TV, rail against President Trump, while exhalting their liberal idols?  I get it….in five hours FOXNews reaches more people than CNN and MSNBC in a day…COMBINED, and that must piss them off.

Because they have a special interest in failure and a special hate for Americans and President Trump.  So, President Trump has a special relationship with FOXNews……CNN has a special relationship with anyone Against President Trump……

This story….this college admissions scandal is something that I, frankly, assumed happened all of the time.  I mean, why wouldn’t it?  The rich and famous on the left pull this sort of shit all of the time, while lecturing us on God knows what.  And I said “the left” because, thus far, every Hollywood name named belongs to die hard leftists who support the 1 to N of libtard issues.

A friend of mine, Mark McCall (a real friend, not just an FB friend), made the comment that the college WE went to would just about have accepted anyone when we applied.  I know that in my case, that was absolutely certain; mine was a little known military college that specialized in producing outstanding Army and Marine officers.  The school was well known through the military, but if you weren’t from Georgia you may have never heard of it.  That school has fallen victim to leftist political correctness and enterprise as most higher education institutions have.  In the post Vietnam era, getting in was restively easy….getting out was a real pain in the ass.  NOBODY would have paid a kick back to get in……it would have been something, at the time, that nobody would have considered.

But times, and the entire higher education system have changed.  If you are a self-obsessed, leftist, WHY WOULD YOU NOT PAY A BRIBE to get your kid into school?  It is the way the left works; remember, when they triumph, they will rule in ways that they will not be ruled.  And this is just one of those ways.

And at first glance, before I appreciated the social ramifications of this (because, face it, not one of those Hollywood elites is going to do jail time.  The money handlers MIGHT, but I doubt even that) I didn’t think much of the notion that, as yet another leftist cabal exploded, USA today would ask about Jared Kushner and how HE got into Harvard.  Really…..your sweethearts are about to be drowned in a corruption Tsunami, yet YOUR focus is on the Presidents’ son in law?

I wonder why none of the media, not a single outlet have questioned how Chelsea Clinton got into Stanford, AND Oxford AND Columbia and earned a PhD in Philosophy?  And, on top of that, with ZERO job experience, immediately got a six-figure gig.  I mean, you have heard that woman speak, you know she has not two brain cells to rub together, how was THAT managed (If you think it is through untraceable funds, laundered through the Clinton Global Crime Foundation….you would be sniffing in the right direction).  For the record, Christal Hayes has worked for about every liberal rag available, starting with Newsweek……and a google search of her will show that she has written nothing but trash on Trump and his administration in years.

So, maybe this “scandal” is legitimate….but given the way the left works…..are any of us surprised?

How is THIS the answer to anything?

“Free College Education!”  One of the mantras from the left, you hear it all of the time.  Think about this…..millennial borrow ENORMOUS amounts of money to get absolutely useless degrees (and, at the risk of pissing off some or all of you, if the degree includes the words “studies”, you run a good chance of being unemployable as well as unemployed….for the foreseeable future), and are then all pissed off, and in debt, because the market for under-water basket weavers has dried up.

Now, is this a government problem?  A little bit.  I would like to think that the person of average intelligence does not incur $250,000 in debt for a degree that qualifies them to get a job with a starting salary of $30,000.  The government, through the decades old Guaranteed Student Loan program HAS enabled the students that would.  Are the schools to blame?  A little bit.  Spurred by the guarantee that the loans would be paid, colleges broadened not only their offerings, lowered standards (thus enabling students with virtually NO history of academic achievement to attend), and increased prices.  But it is a cultural problem as well; we are idiots.

If you read the article you may scratch your head and think “If the problem is $1.5 Trillion in student loan debt, how does “free” college tuition fix anything?  Does that make the plethora of useless sheepskin any more valuable?  Does that make entry level jobs pay $75,000 as opposed to $35,000?  The answer to all of this is…..no.

In reality, there is no market for a significant number of these degrees, and there will be none.  The left will never grasp that a graduate, trumpeting a “womens’ studies” degree is marketable in nothing.  And when there is no market, there is no demand, there is no salary.  Free (tax payer funded) access to something of no value is as retarded as about everything else coming from the new left.

You see, the problem, from my perch is not the debt (which is A problem), but US.  We have to stop doing stupid shit backed by a government prepared to do stupider shit to allow us to do stupid shit.  THIS IS INCREDIBLE that we have caused this problem and the ONLY FRIGGING SOLUTION BEING PUT FORWARD IS TO MAKE STUPID ABSOLUTELY FREE.

The government has been dicking up education in this nation since Woodrow Wilson promulgated a system for those that would be useful to the government, letting the rest of us pogues to fend for ourselves.  I would say pass a law to keep the government out of our education, but not only would the left object…….well they would probably start a war over it.  Even if we said “Free Tuition”, guess who would dictate the curriculum?

You got it….the same ‘tards that put us in this position in the first place.  And they will tax your ass TO DEATH to make “free” happen….for no return on the investment, and no dent to the $1.5 Trillion.

We know that the current system doesn’t work, because we are largely a nation of idiots…..do we REALLY think turning it over to the people that screwed it up, to fix it is the solution?

Another nail in the coffin of Illinois

Let me start this piece with the acknowledgement that JB Pritzker, the newest governor of Illinois, is a documented, but unindicted criminal. Rather than running for governor, this man should have been running for his life.  BUT….this is Illinois, and corruption is the coin of the realm.

So, onto the issues here.  One of the first thing that Pritzker did upon assuming office, other than making sure that all of the government mafia were payed, was to approve a $15 an hour minimum wage.   The left will never learn, and think that we will never learn.  And in this particular case, it appears that there is no end of idiots willing to remain ignorant.

There is no, not one, nowhere, statistic that indicates that a $15 an hour (dictated) minimum wage benefits anyone.  Seattle, Portland, NY and now Illinois are finding this out daily. Like all taxes (and this is what the minimum wage truly is), people that can leave do, business that can leave do.   ANYWHERE that the government is intrusive, in any sector, the free market loses, and the working people lose. 

And the remarkable thing is that, in the socialist/liberal/democrat mindset, the people voting for this certain failure, KNOW that they are voting for certain failure, and do it anyway.

Check this out.  The LA Times reported that “Californians strongly back the state’s minimum wage increase to $15,” even “though they believe the wage hike will hurt their pocketbooks and the state’s economy,” and “high percentages of those surveyed expected negative consequences, including layoffs and business relocations to states with lower minimum wages. Almost 90% of respondents believed that prices for consumers would rise because of the wage hike.”

What the hell?  This is not cognitive dissonance, this is insanity.

Coming back to Illinois.  For over 10 years Illinois as been emptying out at the average of 50,000 people a year.  The record is rife with reports of people that lose their houses in retirement because their $130,000 house, once paid off, still has the annual equivalent of a mortgage in property taxes.  I bought my own home for less than $130,000…..a steal.  But the assessed value is almost $200,000…care to guess on what figure I will be taxed at?  And you can bet your ass, nice as this house is, nobody is going to ink a deal for it at $200K.

And as an aside……I work with a guy who is also an EMT.  Take heart…the high school fucktard that can’t get your burger order straight?  He now makes as much as the first responder that can save your life.

This week I feel certain you have heard all you need to hear from “Democrat Party” Congressperson Ilhan Omar.  This piece of trash may be the only person to run on and be elected to, the US House of representatives with the expressed ideology of hating the US.  It is phenomenal and if Obama himself had a Johnson I would expect CNN to be burying photos’ of the two of them banging uglies beneath a camel.

ALWAYS….ALWAYS believe your enemy when they tell you who they are and what they are.  Omar is an enemy of this nation and of everything this nation has ever stood for.  The democrats in congress are enemies of America for their outright refusal to condemn her personal anti-semitic platform and rants.  The woman is dark ages ignorant, a virulent anti-semite who betrays western, republican thought (which has nothing to do with the republican party.  The party that will condemn the very IDEA that we should not allow Islam in the schools PROTECTS a woman that would destroy the Jews, Israel and this nation.

Why?  Because it is who they are.  In the interest of eliminating all challenges to their power, the left courts Omar, and others, in the vain notion that, after the revolution the old left will be sharing power with the animals.

I feel certain that, with the left no longer making the pretense that it wants to represent Americans, they will welcome more Omar’s, or AOC’s….it is a natural degeneration of the party that is now in the light.

Omar needs to not only be censured, barred from any committees, she needs the party of the communists to refuse to seat her.  They won’t, because this is who they are.  The democrats have determined that, regardless of the disgrace, the enemy of their enemy is their friend…..and Omar is an enemy of America, and therefore their friend.

Tax not, lest ye be left behind

Slowly, but surely the left proves that their policies and incompetence destroy everything it touches.

Two weeks after Amazon bailed on New York in a loss to the state that could have amounted to 25.000 direct jobs and COUNTLESS indirect jobs, they are bailing on another state which is an equally nasty enclave of liberal socialism;  Seattle.

So, here is the deal…..Seattle city council had imposed an “Amazon Tax” on Amazon in the new, office space deal.  This $250 a head on each employ, per year, would have netted the city around $16 Million per year if Amazon filled all of the prospective office space.  That money would go to address the “city's affordable housing crisis and fund homeless initiatives in the area”, a problem caused by liberal policies.  That is right….in order to bring the Amazon office to Seattle, the state wanted to tax Amazon $16 million.  This is the sort of liberal pay to play, that is in effect where ever democrats rule.  Amazon threatened to walk 10 months ago when the new take was announced.  At the threat of losing one of the biggest job opportunities in the history of the state, the city eventually rescinded the tax…(on Amazon alone) but by then Amazon had had enough of the New York debacle and announced that no, the city could always revers course on the issue (as they had once already), and Amazon didn’t want to be a part of that environment.

Once again, the lefts policy of gouging the rich to pay for those who, in often cases, produce nothing (if you have been to Seattle, you know of what I speak), has cost them MILLIONS.

But check this out; “'This is a good reminder for us that backing down to the bullying of corporations never stops their bullying,' said Seattle Councillor Kshama Sawant.

THAT is your reminder?  THAT is your take away?  That a company would rather locate elsewhere than be held hostage for the privilege of locating in your city?  That THEY are bullies, but you are not a socialist thief?

Think about what the city council is saying; It is up to them, to show courage and renew the assault on big business to meet their social agenda of affordable housing.  The city council gives NO indication that they probably CAUSED the housing problem….THROUGH HIGH TAXES.  In my part of the nation, up in the failing city of Chicago, there are vast swaths of buildings that were built to be “affordable”, that quickly became unaffordable because owners had to raise rents to cover the continued rise in property taxes, levied by the city, to address problems CAUSED by the city.

This is all the leftists know…..raise taxes to address problems that they create……proving repeatedly that everything the left touches, turns to shit.
