The congressional democrats have spent the better part of this day publicly defending Obamacare, it's greatness, blah, blah, blah, in the face of a Trump promise to repeal and replace....and through it all we have not heard one thing that should have been a glaring example of why, if any of it is true, all of it is a lie.
And that is, in order for Obamacare to work, and keep in mind it was never about "affordable care", but in order for it to work, to help someone, then someone else had to be hurt, to be punished.
It (Obamacare) is the very essence of socialism, of the welfare state, of actions by faux leadership that really doesn't know a damned bit more about an issue than anyone else......equal, or in some cases, unequal suffering. So few people understand that because we are a nation of self centered, helpless, government fed wastrels, and because the left never highlights that essential truth. Obamacare is the classic case of taking from the haves and giving to the have nots. In addition to forcing care to cost more through regulatory compliance, we punished those that could afford care through taxes in order to fund government "subsidies" to others to afford the now unaffordable care. We forced insurance companies to charge more or go out of business......we didn't make, Obamacare didn't put, everyone on a higher plane, it brough those that had succeeded down to a lower plane. And, just for good measure, if you had the audacity to not want health insurance, you paid a tax penalty on your decision, often as great as the cost of insurance itself. Obamacare forced people to buy something, even if they bought their own punishment.
No new doctors were hired but Obamacare provided a boost to an already near criminal IRS....
It (Obamacare) has nothing to do with care, it is punishment...like paying taxes to fund a school where you have no children in school. And that is the essence of the left...they are not happy until everyone suffers.
