So, Jemele Hill thinks it is time for black athletes to depart predominantly white colleges…..what are those?

Unless you are in the heart of some liberal controlled, democrat shithole in this nation…..you are usually in a “predominantly white” anything in this nation….because until the left succeeds in destroying this nation through illegal immigration…..we are “predominately white”.

Buuutttt…….let me tell you a story…..or stories.  I went to a “predominately white” college….and one of my best, longest lasting friends is a black man with a beautiful family…..from that college.  I was sitting on a cot during Operation Desert Storm, and a fellow captain and I were discussing what we would do when we got out of THAT crap hole.  I told him (and I was serious….believe it or not), that I was interested in dentistry.  He said that I should attend his alma mater; Hampton University, they wanted white students.  Absent mindedly I said “I thought that was one of the traditional black colleges and universities.”  He looked at me like I was retarded and said “It is”.  He stared at me for a moment, then he said “I am black”.  He was one of the finest officers I had known, and I did NOT make the connection.   When I was a Committee Chief at the Armys’ Command and General Staff College, one student, a young black female,  approached one of my instructors for advice on pursuing a PhD (He was a doctor of history….something a lot of black Americans could use a lesson in).  He looked at her credentials and was brutally honest with her.  “I know of NO PhD granting school that will accept your credentials as legitimate”.  She had attended an HBCU that routinely lost its’ accreditation.

The problem with Jemel Hills’ entire mindset is that it is supported by not one….fact.  The HBCU’s have a recruiting problem because, with very few exceptions….they suck.  They cater to a mindset, not to education….not to learning.  This idea that, if the black athletes in question, would only go to HBCU’s and that would not only punish the “predominately white” colleges but contribute to the success of the HBCU’s is ridiculous.  Black athletes should FLOCK to “predominately white” colleges….because for black athletes, and ALL black Americans….success lies in being AMERICAN, not in being black.

Listen…….I am as white as they come….I have blue eyes and humans come no more pale than I.  We “predominately whites” do not care……we do not care about your skin color.  The black American family that lives at the end of my street gets the same respect from me, and from the white couple across the street from me, as anyone.  White America does not CARE.  I do not care if you are Jewish, Baptist, old, young, black, Asian…..what we care about is that you, regardless of what “you” are…is that you ARE part of us.

Jemele Hill doesn’t understand that.

I served alongside of men and women of all races.  I….me….an idiot from south Georgia, stood with a young Korean sergeant as she took the Oath of Citizenship to OUR nation.  She was not white, black, Asian…..she was an American.

Jemele Hill, and almost countless like her, will never get that.

It is not the color of your skin that defines you….is is what you ARE…..what you DO.

And Jemel Hill apparently has done nothing.

My final word on this……for Jemel Hill and others of her ilk…..try for once to not embrace your inner, self taught, hatred……and embrace being an American….because, and trust me on this…..white Americans could give a shit what your skin color is……because Americans care what is on the inside.
