If you watched this weeks on stage clown circus, aka the
Democrat Party Presidential wannabees debate, you saw one of the saddest things
in the history of America. First, it
won’t be a surprise to you that there are no big thinkers in that bunch….not
one has any sort of policy position, other than free shit and being mad at the
“racist in the white house”
Ahhhhh…..speaking of President Trump….can we PUHLEASE get
past this faux, racist outrage at President Trumps’ comments on Baltimore?
Baltimore is just one more major urban area where democrats
have replaced the American dream with the American nightmare of
progressivism. I have been there a few
times and my advice is that if you don’t HAVE to go there….don’t.
In the 1970’s National Geographic Magazine, which usually
covers pygmy tribes in the Amazon rain forest had a length edition highlighting
the decay in Baltimore. In the 1980’s
NPR dedicated an entire episode to the decline of one of America’s first
cities. Think about it….a government
funded propaganda radio station dedicated and ENTIRE HOUR to the woes of
Baltimore. Those woes included out of
control drug use, unemployment at more than 50% in areas, crime that usurped
the big three of Detroit, Chicago and Saint Louis.
In 1999,Eliah Cummings, one of the most corrupt and
ineffective members of congress, and a representative whose district includes
most of Baltimore, said in an interview, that his district was “infested” (the
magic, trigger word that today the dems consider a “racist dog whistle”) with
drug use, even going on to say that some of the people look like zombies.
In 2015 Bernie Sanders visited Baltimore and said that the
city looked, not like a city in the richest nation in the world, but a third
world nation. In a separate visit the
following year, the communist from Vermont said that residents of Baltimore had
a shorter life span than people in North Korea.
In 2016 the MAYOR of Baltimore did a walking tour of the
city, during which she told reporters that she could smell the garbage and the
dead rats.
Remarkably, nobody accused these people, this radio
station, or an internationally recognized magazine, as being racist. N-O-B-O-D-Y.
But, those people were all democrats, progressives, not
really concerned with their role in causing or fixing the problem. If they were concerned, the almost $3 Billion
that flowed into Baltimore during the Obama dynasty would have been used to do
something productive, like hire more police to help with the crime.
And, speaking of police….three of the five policemen
involved in the Freddie Gray case were black.
The police chief at the time was black.
The mayor was black, the city council was predominantly black. Now, if you were a THINKER, you would draw a
connective line between the population (largely black), the criminals (ditto),
the city government (mostly black), the representative in congress (black) and
the city’s spiral into shitdom.
Or, you could call Donald Trump a racist for pointing out
what EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE NATION can see as self evident; Baltimore is a
shit hole. Maybe not all of it, they
have a nice airport, but so does Detroit.
I confess, in a moment of lassitude, I did not see how the
“Donald Trump is a racist for attacking Baltimore and Elijah Cummings” story
was going to get legs….but I had forgotten the medias’ role in getting out the
story and pushing it across the goal line.
I also underestimated the lefts’ skill at hypocrisy……I’ll stand in the
corner later.
Which brings me full circle……the rage on display at the two
night, empty suit contest was remarkable……instead of addressing any sort of
policy, ANYTHING that affects the nation, they seize on the opportunity to pile
on a white President for the crime of telling the truth…..the same truth that
they themselves have told.
Can we please be done with these useless democrats?
