Illinois' NEW form of corruption (or todays' newest form)

One day, some authority in Illinois is going to bury my ass under some jail house…..for writing stuff like this.

The Chicago Sun-Times, a liberal rag that truthfully only “represents” a small portion of Chicago in its’ slanted, leftist reportage, actually carried this story…..so I assume that means the editors must not see the blatant hypocrisy of the article.

If you live in New York, California, New Jersey, you can relate to this….Illinois is a one party state….and its’ questionable if the party is the democrats or organized crime, or if the two are one and the same.  There are some republicans in the legislature, and generally they go there with the intent of doing well…but they are in the permanent minority and are largely ineffective….and that is a shame because there is A LOT of good in Illinois, but it is all overshadowed by the shit in Chicago and that citys’ bought and paid for senators and representatives.

I am not sure if it is proper to call it corruption, criminality, dishonesty, or all three…..but our state is a shithole when it comes to the state government.  And, every one knows it, and nothing happens……it is the Chicago way.  You can do the research, but the BEST that can be said for our governor JB Pritzker and the long time speaker of the Illinois house, Mike Madigan, is that they are ruthless, and more than a tad unethical.  Of course I am bitter, along with every other middle class tax payer, over the across the board tax increase on everything ….and I mean….EVERYTHING.

So, given the long history of prison style rape delivered by the state government to the citizens…..and the indoor shooting range and racial combat ground that is Chicago, and the legal abuse of workers by the unions…and did I say incompetent, corrupt state employees….that this story was run in a major (albeit worthless) newspaper….is mind boggling.

Now, I had never heard of a similar scheme before……probably because unlike the people involved, I am fairly honest, on a scale of none to a lot.  Parents surrender legal guardianship of their minor children (under aged 18), so that the teens can apply for enhanced student grants and loans under their own, unemployed (or minimally employed) name.  It is illegal, immoral, corrupt and unethical……which fits in nicely with the government.

But, Pritzker is outraged….and is vowing to root out the criminals and bring them to heel.

And, when I read that, I wonder “what the hell do you expect?”  I mean, from top to bottom, our state government BREEDS this sort of behavior, so why in the world would we think the rich and connected, in Chicago, would NOT do something like this?  This scheme is perfectly in keeping with the law of Illinois.  In a state that routinely over values property, in order to increase property taxes, and the appeal process requires the property owner to hire a lawyer and go to court, where the attorneys arguing for the plaintiff are on the payroll of the law firm, in which the state speaker of the house is a partner….why would Pritzker expect anything else?

I am sure that Pritzkers’ fat ass is sorry that HE didn’t think of this scheme.  His outrage at this scheme, while he presides over a state government that is nothing but a scheme, is an outrage in itself.
