Over promise, under deliver, screw your constituents, get rich, and destroy America…..the modern democratic party.

We have all now forgotten about the flap over Baltimore, between a President actually telling the truth, and a congressman who is unfamiliar with the truth.   A few sensationalized shootings will allow the media to do that for us.  But someone posted the following video on FB, which I watched completely through…..twice (I was supposed to be painting the house), and I think it warrants your viewing….because of what the PEOPLE of Baltimore have to say; it is fairly eye opening.

Now, I found some work by Nate Silver…..a fairly renowned statistician, on Cummmings’ Baltimore district…..the numbers are fairly astonishing.  The district, as it is drawn, is 56% black, and in five years has had a STAGGERING $15.7 BILLION in federal grants.  What makes those numbers astounding (other than the fact that it is money, taken from you and given to others), is that the median income of the district is $58K, that over half hold bachelors degrees (which I hope we all know is a measure of absolutely nada).  But when you watch the video, it is pretty clear that no amount of government largesse has done squat for Elijah Cummings Baltimore.  HE has become filthy rich, but that is about it.  Interestingly enough….Cummings has never dropped below 69% of the election turn out since his first election to congress in 1996.

Think about that…..if you look at the statistics, Cummings district is NOT poverty stricken, and moderately well educated….but if you watch the video (and if you have ever been there), it is indeed the shithole that President Trump described.

Can you imagine living, for ANY period of time, without running water in your home?  Granted, people around the world do it, but they are living in war torn hell holes, on the Serengetti, or Muslim countries.  I live in the Midwest, and the weather can be fairly volatile….Ice, snow, flooding, can knock out power and other utilities for days at a time, and even in Illinois, as corrupt and adrift as it is, the utility companies will be working like Santas’ elves to restore power and other utilities….because WE PAY FOR IT.   Those outages are caused by events, and we all understand it….but to live in a city and to just NOT have water?  No wonder you have rats.

Can you imagine, on any given day, having volunteers collect 12 tons of garbage off of the streets?  In my neighborhood, if Thursday trash pick up is a little tardy, SOME neighbor is calling the city and asking “what the hell?”  And you know why?  Because WE PAY FOR IT.  But guess what?  In Baltimore, you pay for it as well…..you just don’t get it.

And do you know why that is? 

Because EVERYTHING….everything…every…..single….thing……that the left touches, they destroy.  And what the left has done to our major cities, and what it will do to every city, town, and village they control, is a national disgrace.

I don’t know why the residents’ of Cummings district allow the conditions there to continue.  I do know that almost 70% of them continuing to vote for a man that they acknowledge doesn’t do shit for them, is not the answer to remedying the problem.  I think there is a chance that they have been conditioned to accept the lefts answer to their problem; over promising and under delivering….it should be the DNC motto.  When you put your faith in government, and then give the government to the democrats, you get 12 tons of garbage, no running water, and in this particular case…..racist bomb thrower Al Sharpton.

I think….I think that there might be hope in situations like this…..that hippie that organized the clean up effort…..clearly gayer than clowns in a Los Angeles parade…..the veteran that works with the homeless…..not so much, the middle aged postal worker….who knows….but that they could all come together to clean up something that will again be a disaster in 30 days….that is admirable.  I am afraid I have lost the part of my compassion that would allow me to do that…..I am afraid that I have come to the point where I think….’you made your  bed……sleep tight’. 

I think, in the end, when you put your faith in the government, and then go a step further and give your government to the left….you pretty much get what you deserve.  And what you will get is a government that over promises, under delivers, screws the constituency, gets rich off of it, and chips away at Americas’ foundations….

…..what you get is Baltimore……and Elijah Cummings
