The enemy of free speech and advocates of totalitarianism in this country are about to win another one.  The end is nigh for Laura Ingraham and her FOXNews program “The Ingraham Angle”.  And depending of the networks next move, the end might be nigh for FOXNews itself.

What you are seeing play out is perfectly predictable and it IS the goal of the entire Parkland, post shooting, media fed, progressive led chaos.  As I have said, this has zero to do with guns, shooting or Parkland; this is an attack on you the American, and on your basic, long understood, God given freedoms.  This is a play by the enemies of freedom to basically “change their mind” on the founding principles of the nation.  It is a goal, it is planned and it is happening.

And when FOX caves, and they will, the American media will have become a full fledged arm of the new state; it can shut you up the minute you refuse to tow the party line, and like other totalitarian nations, the party will be the state and the state the party.

And Americans will not be invited.

And you know what should remove ANY doubt?  David Hogg, the pretentious idiot being used by the left to put a decent face on an indecent war on freedom, has gotten what he wanted.  Shamefully, and with the full help and acquiescence of the media, advertisers have pulled adds from “The Ingraham Angle”, and what does Hogg say?  Predictably, he says he does not accept her apology, and that it is not enough.  He embarrassed him, therefore she should be ruined.  He and his allies and his leaders are not content to win, they are out to destroy, to shut up not only Ingraham but ANYONE that dare disagree with them, whatever the case.  Make no mistake, you are either with Hogg or against Hogg, and if you are against Hogg, it is not acceptable to disagree, you must be silenced.

And it is not, it will not be only on issues of the second amendment; it will be whatever the David Hoggs of this nation, what is left of this nation, decides it needs to be.

This is not about Laura Ingraham, it is not about the hypocrisy of a corrupt media which refuses to point out the liberal screeching when people call the left out using the same language or techniques that is part of the lefts fiber.  This is not even about FOXNews…..these are all intermediate objectives.  What this is about is insisting that you don’t have a voice, then that you go silently, then that you embrace the lies, and finally that you believe.  The left has determined that there is NO cooperation, only capitulate.

And they don’t care if you know it.

This is the follow on to the HuffPo piece on advertisers ditching Laura Ingraham in response to a tweet from that national shit for brains David Hogg.  What you are seeing in this article, other than the rampant hypocrisy of the left (because keep in mind, NO leftist member of congress, host on CNN or MSNBC has ever been derogatory towards the President, or any conservative figure (that is if you take out of the equation Joy Reid, Don Lemmon, Joe Scarborough and his consort Mika, Maxine Waters, Hillary Clinton, that guy Rachel Maddow, the over the hill Chris Matthews…and that list is long and exceptionally undistinguished.  That list is also not populated with people that are concerned with facts, let alone other opinions).

I told you last night that this issue had nothing to do with guns or Parkland, this is a part of the culture wars, the negation of the Constitution, and the lefts’ intent, and it is not only an effort, but an INTENT, to eliminate free speech.  They will destroy ANY BODY and ANY THING, to achieve this goal……before they use the same technique to achieve the next goal.  Right now they are intent on getting you to shut up, then they will shift to insisting that you AGREE and then CONFORM.  THIS IS A TECHNIQUE used by every progressive pact, every progressive entity; it is proven and it is in their books, and they have entire PAC’S and funds dedicated to it.  There is no accusation they will not make using their fundraising and their control of the media.

The ball is now in FOX’s court…….FOX can stand up for America on this constitutional issue……or it can do what is expected of it, fire Laura Ingraham.  You have never seen an attempt like this on the left, with their vulgarity, their lies, their over the top statement……CNN still has their sponsors and their “personalities” still has their jobs.  This sort of attack is reserved for Americans.  The left likes to draw parallels between unlike things, claiming similarities (resulting in the only person in history not being like Hitler is actually Hitler), so they will love this one.  This attack on Ingraham and FOX is only a slightly milder version of an Indochinese re-education camp. 

The left in this nation is simply not requiring you to pack your shit yet.

Now, pay attention as you read that article, and please do read it.  It is the sort of misdirection in writing, so common among the left today, that makes me fully aware that I will never be a writer in the post Constitutional America.

Okay, the facts here, and let’s get those straight so that you can see exactly how dishonest this entire story is.  1.  David Hogg may or may not have been present at Parkland on the day of the shooting.  I am not sure anyone really knows because the media has been SPECTACULAR on  driving the train away from that actual event, towards the anti-gun movement.  I will return to this here shortly.  2.  Hogg immediately took up the mantle of the anti-gun movement, and he is a front man only for a leftist power grab; make no mistake, this has zero to do with Parkland or guns or gun safety.  More on that shortly also.  3.  Laurah Ingraham, and I am not a particularly huge fan of hers for a few reasons, much as I am not  huge fan of more than a few conservative talkers, was the first to have Hogg on TV following the shooting.  4.  Hogg has been used and made a fool of by a leftist movement that will discard him whether or not it gets their way; the left cares about their agenda, not their talking heads.  5.  And Hogg has been rejected by four (at least) colleges, despite an excellent HS GPA, and Laura brought attention to that.

Okay, THOSE are the facts.  And they are not hidden in the HuffPo story, that would be difficult even for HuffPo; they are not hidden, they are merely discounted.

Okay, on Hogg being the teen front man for this anti-gun crusade.  How much EXACTLY can this kid know about anything?  You have heard the kid speak, he is an uneducated, over indulged, self-centered piece of crap, which I feel certain he was bequeathed by his parents.  Along with mis-identifying our form of government as a democracy, not a republic, he promptly went on record with more than a few vulgarities and took to the street with his “demands”.  Over 80% of his backing, financially and in the form of protestors comes from large, well connected, leftist organizations; this includes the DNC,  Planned Parent Hood, Moveon.org, former democrat elected officers and some still serving as mayors and governors, and the full line up of David Brocks criminal organizations….teens supporting anti-gun efforts are outnumbered almost 2-1 by their teachers and school administrators that are encouraging them.  This is not a grass roots movement, this is a planned and staged revolution against law and order and the US, encouraged by the left, funded by the left, sponsored and manned by the left.  This kid is no hero; again, you have seen his theatrics…..a few days in the gulag would not do him any harm.  Actually, I suspect that, when the left is through whoring him out, he will finally become “woke” on what such an idiot he is.

This “movement” has nothing to do with guns; nothing.  It also has nothing to do with stopping the disturbed from getting guns and going on rampages.  To date, following Parkland, there has been not a single, legitimate suggestion towards preventing Parklands’, and there will not be.  You do not see the media covering a large march condemning the sheriffs’ department in Parkland for not doing their job, do you?  Of course not, and it is the same principle.  This “movement” is an anti-free speech attack on the Constitution and on the law abiding to get to the leftist goal of power.  If they take the guns, this will only force a change of weapon.  As long as people in society think that killing a school full of people is the solution to somebody calling them queer, the problem will not be the gun.  At some point this becomes simply a movement to overturn the nation……brought to you by cesspools of foolishness like the Huffington Post.

Laura Ingraham chided Hogg for being rejected by the colleges despite his grades.  Clearly, he is in a position to get into any school of his choice now; before Parkland he was another white kid of no substance, enjoying his privilege by getting good grades when others could not.  Now that he is an established fool, malcontent, all round douchebag and an agitator, the colleges will be lined up to get him and probably even tailor a useless degree for him.

Hogg got his feelings hurt, and he should have. Even with all of the leftist, prog backing and talking points, eventually he was bound to overstep the boundaries of acceptable behavior.  In return for his hurt feelings he takes the leftist approach and demands advertisers pull their support of the “Ingraham Angle”.  You hurt my feelings so it is only natural that I hurt your livelihood…because you know, the two are exactly commensurate, even identical.

And not remarkably, the advertisers jumped on board, it won’t cost them much to do a little virtue signaling (which won’t gain them much because most of us could give a shit).  And HERE is where the stupidity of this really raises its’ head, where the hypocrisy is evident.  This from the “Trip Advisor” company.

“We believe strongly in the values of our company, especially the one that says, “We are better together.”   

We also believe Americans can disagree while still being agreeable, and that the free exchange of ideas within a community, in a peaceful manner, is the cornerstone of our democracy. 

We do not, however, condone the inappropriate comments made by this broadcaster. In our view, these statements focused on a high school student, cross the line of decency. As such, we have made a decision to stop advertising on that program”.

I am not sure what Trip Advisor really believes but I can tell that they don’t believe what they say.  “We also believe Americans can disagree while still being agreeable, and that the free exchange of ideas within a community, in a peaceful manner, is the cornerstone of our democracy”.  Except for you Laura Ingraham, we don’t believe it for you.  Do you think anyone at Trip Advisor has heard some of the shit that tumbles from the idiot maws of Hogg and his fellow travelers?  Apparently not, because they have a standard for Hogg, and another for Ingraham.

That’s right, Ingraham, you meanie….Hogg is free to say whatever he so desires, informed or not, correct or not, civil or (mostly) not, but you, who are in his crosshairs, need to take it like a man, and be quiet because HE IS A KID!!!  You know what, “kids”, if you can’t play with the grown kids, the grown kids in the real world don’t change the rules for you…..keep your yapping, clueless ass on the porch.

Perhaps the spinless mammals at the “WAYFAIR” company outdid even Trip Advisor.  “As a company, we support open dialogue and debate on issues,” the Wayfair spokeswoman said. “However, the decision of an adult to personally criticize a high school student who has lost his classmates in an unspeakable tragedy is not consistent with our values. We do not plan to continue advertising on this particular program.”

“Yes, we support open dialogue and debate on the issues, as long as Hogg and the left are the only ones participating.  You people that actually KNOW shit need to shut up and let the inmates run the asylum.  And by NO means should you, as an adult, counter the movements of the left, mouthed by a young fool….what are you anyhow?  Intelligent?  Informed?  You will have the opinion that punk wants you to have….and you WILL like it.”

So, we will show YOU…..we will pull our sponsorship (BTW….conservative advertisers, holding fast to the notion that their ads do not necessarily endorse the program RARELY ever discuss pulling advertising).  I think that most people that have ever used Trip Advisor would probably be grateful no more of their adds, and I am unaware that I even know anyone that has shopped with Wafair.

This “movement” is not about guns, it is not about killing….it IS about resisting the sane and normal, enforcing the lefts’ narrative on people that know better, corrupting society and shutting down the voice of anyone that has a different opinion from our domestic enemy on the left.

Trust me…..David Hogg, Trip Advisor and Wafair just told you so.

Can you stand a little more of this nonsense? 

I am sitting in a Colorado Springs hotel room, watching an episode of “The First 48”, which is a great, real time show, that follows homicide detectives as they try to solve a case within the first 48 hours of notification.  The thought process being that the detectives have to at least turn a significant lead in the first 48 hours following a homicide or risk the case going cold.

This one was set in Cleveland, a regular garden spot if there ever was one.  Within eleven hours the cops actually had the shooter in custody, the boyfriend of the young girl that was shot dead.  He had been with the girl for two plus years and she announced that she was pregnant, which told the boyfriend that she had been cheating on him.  His retribution?  Shoot her in the head…LITERALLY.

Now, put aside for a minute these things…..the parents of the dead girl did not even know that these two had been a couple for two years……which is an indictment of the parents, or the kids, or both.  Second of all, if this girl was with this boy for two years, then got pregnant by another boy…..well we call that girl a slut in the real world.  And I know that being a slut is not considered a bad thing in some circles but we HAVE cracked the code on how to avoid getting pregnant in the process……so I guess she was a careless slut.  And the boy?  You could tell in the interviews that he was a douchebag, completely devoid of any sort of moral compass or code.  Face it, this is 2018…what is a man to do when his girl turns up pregnant by another man?  Shoot her, right?  I mean, that IS the school solution, right?

Put all of that aside because we all know that THAT cultural ship has sailed, is barely visible as a memory on the horizon.  BUT…..this is the important part.

Following the girls murder, and the shitbag boys’ apprehension and confession, the friends and family of the dead girl, plus concerned citizens (I assume they were citizens, but who knows?) held the mandatory candlelight vigil to plead for justice, release some balloons, make some speeches, you know, all of that theater which has never, ever, not once, made a DENT in these sort of crimes.  And they never will because the criminal and the victim were two pieces of societal garbage produced by a society that has collapsed on itself.

And you know this…..and you know this from the speeches.  One of the girls that got the most face time, and this was well before Parkland, was shrieking about the beauty, the innocence of the dead girl (I am sorry, but wasn’t she knocked up by one guy, while in a two year relationship with another guy, and out of wedlock?), and the loss of her and her potential (to be a leech on society is my guess)……”all because of a gun!!!”  And the girl exclaimed it over and over, loudly; this beautiful, innocent, so full of life (in this case two lives in case you were watching from a Planned Parenthood office) young girls’ life was snuffed out “All because of a lousy gun!!!!”

It is SCARY to listen to that and realize that we have high school aged teens that are so shockingly stupid, that they look at that situation and their first thought is that a gun killed their friend.  No reference whatsoever to the parents that didn’t know about the relationship, no reference whatsoever that the girl was pregnant by another man, not her boyfriend of two years, no reference whatsoever to the piece of human garbage that thought that the indignity of having your girlfriend banging another guy without protection was punishable by shooting her in the head (the boy would have been lucky AND smart to have thanked God and walked away).  NO REFERENCE to the problem that they were smack in the middle of….

…..because the problem was all about a lousy gun.

That is a tenet of progressives, and their unknowing, government schooled acolytes; create a problem (a cesspool culture), identify the problem (not the right one), devise a solution (that does not correct the problem), and further the problem.

Why did that teen think her friend died because of a lousy gun?  Think about it……the young girl that was speaking identified her friend, the dead girl, as innocent (clearly not the case), with a lot of potential (a child out of wedlock, while not graduated from high school and not married is THE definition of a failure at life and a ward of the state in almost every case).  If she is so close to the problem, or so much a part of the problem that she can look at the dead girl and HONESTLY elevate her to the status of an innocent, loaded with potential, she is COMPLETELY unqualified to diagnose the problem; she is PART of the problem.  That speaker will never identify herself as the problem when she sees herself reflected in the dead girl.

Therefore it is the gun.

I do NOT not think the teens, being abused by the progressive media and the democrats and the activists, have no valid ideas, no thoughts worth hearing.  I simply think they are wrong.

James Earl Carter……wasn’t he President once?  I mean, in all seriousness, Carter is up there with such notables as Franklin Pierce (the grandfather of the US Civil War), and James Buchanan (the father of the US Ciivil War and champion of the worst US Supreme Court decision ever rendered; Dred Scott v. Sanford), and Millard Fillmore……absolutely DEPLORABLE Presidents, pro-slavery democrats all, and in the direct political bloodline of Jimmy Carter, the worst President by accident of my generation (Obama was the worst on purpose).

Ask yourself….exactly WHAT notable Presidential achievement did Carter have, what success can he point too?  Sky rocketing fuel prices and victimizing the US through his refusal to avail the nation to our own fuel resources?  Instead he let OPEC gang rape the US on fuel, which continued for quite some time.  He presided over the gutting of the US military, started under the democratic congress while Ford was President (until even Carter realized he was screwing the pooch).  He took no action on the international stage to prevent the rise of Iran (which one of his successors paid with US tax dollars to continue).  He allowed Iran to absolutely humiliate the United States over the hostage crisis, an event with became routine under Obama, and he generally ruled over the “Malaise” that he himself said had settled on the US.

And before you start yelling “Israel, Egypt, Sinai, Nobel Peace Prize” let me remind you of the REALITY of that event.  Anwar Sadat had seen the writing on the wall; the Arabs were never, ever going to beat Israel on the battlefield, and Sadat would never hold onto power as long as Egypt remained a loser; Sadat was desperate for a deal (hint:  It took an ARAB actually interested in peace to arrive at a “two state” solution…..something missing today).  And, true to Arab/Muslim form, the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, the ancestor of all radical Islamic movements (or what we call Islam) has turned the Sinai into a hotbed of violence AGAIN, after countless millions of US dollars poured into the “UN” peace keeping mission.  My point on that is that you REALLY have to stretch to consider the Arab/Israeli détente a success.  Given the abject dishonoring of the Nobel Prize by the awarding of the prize by the committee to former President Obama, THAT luster is not that bright.

Jimmy Carter, always thought of as doing more good works out of office than in (and I don’t think it a stretch to say that, ANY good works he has done were done out of office), is in NO position to criticize ANY decision on anything from President Trump.  Granted, a Jimmy Carter criticism of President Trump is a badge of honor for anyone attempting to return America to any form of greatness outside of the liberal mindset, and yes, Carter IS entitled to his own opinion.  But like all of the brain dead teens being tooled by the left after the Parkland shooting, Carters’ opinion is of no value and should be kept to himself.

But this is the Progressive way……take someone that is a failure, a sexist, a racist, a thief, a drug user, a rapist, a failed candidate, a failure at appointed office, and elevate them as an expert in a field.  That is how the progs get their congressmen, senators, special interest group leaders, you name it.  They invest authority in people that have proven to have disdain for that authority, as well as an inability to translate that authority into productivity.  Jimmy Carter fits that mold.

Listen, I was raised in Georgia, went to high school and college in Georgia, went to basic training in Georgia, went to airborne school in Georgia, I AM a native Georgian, and for my entire adult life myself and other Georgians of any intelligence have lived under the stigma of being from the state that produced such over the top incompetence as we saw personified in Jimmy Carter.  Carter has proved repeatedly, in every opportunity he has been given, to have absolutely ZERO relevance on what is and is not appropriate for this nation.  In a nutshell, his time as President was a disaster for this nation….why in the world would we care about his opinion on the Presidency now that he is NOT the President?

Like Pierce, Fillmore and Buchanan, who marched the nation inextricably towards the US Civil War, Carter never made the hard decisions needed to be a leader, and he should have no impact at all on the decisions of any President trying to lead.

His opinion mattered once and he squandered that capital.  His opinion does not matter at all now.

Facebook Jail.....here I come

I need to go pack my bag for an extended stay in the Facebook jail.  But today as I was wasting life span on reading peoples’ posts (not mine….mine are valuable, archival material), something caught my eye on the right side of the screen.  I have included a snap shot of what Facebook considered the “trending news” for today.  Take a look.

The clip shows what Facebook staff, who are paid to determine what YOU see as “trending news”.  That is right…..I cannot recall the job title of the FB employees that do this, but there is a staff that choses what YOU see as trending, in an effort to influence what YOU think.

Do you notice anything about the 10 items listed as “trending”?  Sure you do.    Three of them are from MSN(BC).  One is from CNN, and one from the BBC.  All of those sources are FAR left, I mean FRINGE left (which is THE left) and anti-Trump.  Then you have the one by NPR.  I think NPR must miss the day when it was a relative outlet, could call itself “talk radio”, before it became a tax payer funded tool of the left (and on this….you will hear some actual truth on NPR, most of it irrelevant to anything….except for “Car Talk”).  AzCentral is, believe it or not, the largest newspaper in Arizona, and it is also a tool of the USAToday, which itself is a tool.  And then there is mediaite.com.  Mediaite.com can GRACIOUSLY be called far left in the same way as CNN can be described as  a news organization.  Mediaite is the next best thing to a David Brock front (and by the time you read this, it may BE a David Brock front), and its’ purpose is to portray any actual news in a left favored light, when it bothers with actual news at all; it is solely in the business of turning your brains to mush.

And that is it….across the board, Facebook considers anti-US and anti-Trump news, from anti-American (and in at least two cases, non-American) sources, to be the news that YOU should be interested in.  THIS is no accident, this is the facebook technique.  And it is worse than you think.  This Cambridge Analytica thing that the media is trying to distract you with and link it in to the fairy tale of Russian Collusion…..this thing was STARTED by facebook when it allowed the Obama administration to harvest data without issue because FB was a burgeoning liberal mouthpiece.  But the new version of “the scandal” is right there in “trending news”; not only is FB in the news, they are WRITING the news to make MORE news which is not newsworthy.  I am told that the acknowledged mission of the “trending news” staff is to put out items of interest, but that the employees have wide latitude and wink and nod permission to make “adjustments” as THEY believe appropriate.  Never, EVER think that Facebook is not partisan.  Facebook, because of its’ reach, is possibly the greatest leftist player in the market…..

NOT what we were looking for....not even a little.

I am not going to jump into this too deeply, preferring to let the pundits parse the language and thought behind it before I determine what I think right looks like.  But, I wanted to put something out there because, let’s face it…I am bored, its’ Friday night, you’ve been drinking and you are pissed.

Of course I am referring to President Trump signing the “Omnibus Spending Bill” today; a bill that by ALL accounts is a loser for the American people.  And by ALL accounts, I am also acknowledging that the democrats consider it a victory for their ongoing revolution (sort of like the tax payer funding the lefts’ treachery), therefore competing the circle of suck for the American people.

I am not going to go into the semantics of a “spending bill” versus a “budget” or a “continuing resolution” or a threatened “government shutdown” and what the language of one does allow for and not allow for.  What I KNOW is that the congress (both houses) are required by law to pass a “budget”, which is….a BUDGET, like the one you likely use in your house (but you use real dollars, don’t rob others and, if you are smart, stop spending right about the time you run out of money), and I also KNOW that congress hasn’t done that properly in about a decade.  I do KNOW that the left has elevated the “government shutdown” to a black mail tool, knowing that, with the assistance of an increasingly biased media, they can always cast the “shut down” as a republican function, one that keeps the boy scout troop out of the ST Louis Arch and 96 year old WWII veterans from the gravesides of their fallen veterans; a republican outrage.   I KNOW these things, and you should too, whether or not you do.  I also KNOW, based on what they DO, that the left gives not a shit about what is good for America, or in simpler terms, America in general……America and Americans are not “part of the plan”.

I also know this.  I voted for President Trump, despite the fact that we all know that he is not a true conservative.  He was an outsider, desperately needed by Americans, as anyone would be whom Americans thought could un-screw the progressive march towards national suicide.  And given what I think I know about the alternatives at the time, I would vote for President Trump again.  I have the knack, as most of you probably do as well, to see from the lies and distortions of the left, to understand the motives of the left relative to their actions, not what they say (though, both are increasingly similar).  But today, at face value, the President severed a tie between himself and people like me that voted for him.  He and the vice President, by LAW are the only two, nationally elected officers in this country, and NATIONALLY we voted for border security, a strong defense, law and order and an end to statism and the deep state.  Now, into the second year following that vote, we have gotten none of that.  The words are right, the results are wrong.

To be fair, we had no true understanding of how the left and the media would turn on this nation following the election.  Some of us, me included, thought that the enemies of the Constitution would pause to lick their wounds, not ramp up and come out in the open.  Few of us realized that the election was, for the left, their public relations Tet offensive, allowing them to come out in the open, even if suffering defeat.  Rather than re-group, even pause, the left attacked and showed that they do not care that the people lawfully elected the two only nationally elected officers; they didn’t care and they were not going to play….they were not going to let the people have their way.  I’ll be honest, even I was take aback by the brazenness of the lefts’ oppression, and now its’ increased oppression through the media and academia.  I did not understand how the left itself would establish itself as a stand-alone government, through which change and improvement would not be allowed.

But our, my, lack of understanding doesn’t change the fact that, people like me, who voted for President Trump, assuming that a congressional majority would work with him, feel betrayed.  I don’t blame the President as much as I blame the GOP in congress.  They either didn’t get the memo, or don’t give a crap or are so ingrained in the system that they don’t understand.  But the GOP in congress has proven to be the staunch allies of the left, so thoroughly that they are indistinguishable…..that there is now no conservative element, no constitutional element to congress.  I don’t blame the President, but others will.  The media will, Schumer and Pelosi already have (I think that is what Pelosi was doing…who the hell knows with that mental case…….I am telling you…..the whistle on that train is fading into the distance), and those that accepted Trump grudgingly will.

But I trust him for now.  I trust that somehow he has a plan, something up his sleeve, some strategy to turn this dramatic loss into a failure, to shove this up the ass of the left like the left shoves their shit up the ass of America at every opportunity. 

But for now, the President has separated himself from his followers, from his supporters….and he will need to work like Santa’s elves on Christmas eve to get some of them back.

I had an embarrassing exchange with a young lady, a graduate of my college no less, who responded to the question of why the Austin bomber will not be categorized as a terrorist.  Her answer (and I quote); “he white”.  That set the mental giants off chasing a shiny quarter with about 20 replies and not a single serious thought involved.  When I congratulated her on sending the thread down the rabbit hole she responded with a Batman slur and called me an out of touch old fuck.

I said embarrassing, I didn’t say embarrassing for me.

By the way, sarcasm is completely lost on that generation, I guess they take themselves entirely too seriously, but for the record, if being white excused you from being a terrorist, I am sure Ted Kaczynski and Tim McVey must be breathing easier now.  If ANYTHING we have over used that term; we should add the word to the other list of meaningless terms…..racism, sexism, feminism….terrorism.  I think her final jab at me was to accuse me of insulting a kid half my age on the internet.

Whiiiiccchhhh….coincides nicely with the theme of a book I am burning through entitled “No Campus for White Men”. The book is all about safe spaces, not so free speech, trigger warnings, micro-aggressions….basically a take down of ALL of that BS….and it is complete BS….graduate level stuff.

And it occurred to me, alarmingly and brazenly, what we are dooming ourselves to, in this nation and to a degree, the greater portion of western civilization.  Our colleges have become institutions not of PREPARING people for the future with the truth, but rather corrupting the future by hiding the truth, reality from people.  Listen, you can THINK whatever you want too (until the government forbids THAT, like colleges are trying to do), but that does not make it true.  You can BELIEVE that the US has not been the indispensable nation in the history of the world, and you can twist whatever fact, weight whatever thought, you have or find, but your denying history does not make it so.  And that holds true across the board.  If you are a college student, and you feel insulted when someone says that you hijacked a thread into the most retarded of the day…..how will you feel when you actually GET insulted?  When everything becomes all about you, then how, when you are told all of your life that your feelings trump reality, how will you handle REAL reality? Right now it seems as if we are hell bent on changing reality.  We are sending our 18 year old kids off to college, thinking like 15 year olds, and getting them back at aged 22 years old, thinking like 15 year olds.  There is no damned change, and they are not ready for anybody or anything.

And that is not how you prepare anyone for ANYTHING real.  In a normal world we would think “well, these little shits have a real wake up call coming at them when they get out into the real world”, but that is now not necessarily the case, because we have changed the real world to accommodate the product we are pushing into the real world, and that product can’t survive it.  Listen, I started working on my cousins’ farm in the summers when I was 12.  That lasted until I was 15, and all of the money I made in the summer bought school clothes, school supplies, school lunches, and if anything was left over, the newest film at the theater.  At 15 I started working at a grocery store and that lasted year around until I was 17, with the same story, but add in a car, insurance and gas…..and high school.  When I was 17 I enlisted in the Army because I had ZERO skills, but ended up borrowing my way into college…..and all of that time, right up to the present day, I have taken some ASS CHEWINGS that would send some of these kids to the ER with extended stay in the trauma wing.  I had a colonel promise to ruin me when I was a captain, in front of peers, and he damned near pulled it off.  I went through a period of time in both my professional and personal life where NOTHING I did worked for the good.  I lost a fortune, a few cars, access to my son, my good name (thus my pseudonym), a home…….the hits just kept on coming….and nobody gave a crap and I had to keep hammering to get back on top because REMARKABLY, there were no safe spaces and there are always more people willing to tell you how you dicked up than there are willing to help you out.

THAT my friends, is life, real life, the whole “no crying in baseball” part of life, the “run to the sound of the guns” part of life, get thick skin in a hurry, “learn to swim or drown” kind of life.  And it is full of insults, vulgarities, roughness and VERY FEW “attaboys”.  Nobody cares what you think about a civil war statue, nobody cares if you can’t interpret statistics right and believe that democrats are the party of the down trodden.  Nobody cares that you think you are getting a raw deal because you are not a white male, or more laughable, that you are getting a better deal because you are.  Nobody cares about your ill-informed, minority studies opinion on the economy or politics.  Nobody cares if you think you won’t be called a terrorist because you are white, and it is for damned sure that nobody cares about your view of their Christian faith.  In the real world people care if you can do the job, in the environment you are in, without screwing shit up, and crying like a sissy kindergartner because you feel like your opinion doesn’t count, you didn’t get a raise / promotion / a bonus / mentioned favorably…..

….Nobody cares.  Nobody.

But here is what we DO care about.  Your parents spend a lot of money to shelter you, to make you feel like you are special, not just to them but to the world writ large (you are not).  They may even have a bed waiting for you when the going gets tough and basket weaving does not bring in six figures to start.  And the general population, we have listened to your ill-informed, inexperienced ass bray like a mule for the past 18 years…..WE care about getting a return on our investment.  WE care that if you are going to open your mouth on social media we don’t see sunlight through your ear canals, that your mouth is not full of your foot; that your head is not up your ass.

We care that you can function and contribute to the world as it is, not some creation in your mind, that you read the books and don’t eat them.

Other than that, nobody cares what you think.

Well……since I have started posting on Blogger, or Blogspot, or Blognation, or whatever the Google tool is called, and directing readers to it through FB linkages, I get a mixed bag of comments; some comment directly to the BLOG (thank you), some comment on FB (which will certainly land me in a liberal run FB exile at some point), and some through email and PM’s.  I am cool with all of it, HOWEVER, some things get hidden in these multiple venues.

And…..I know that this might shock you, but after my piece on the fallen bridge in Florida……I have been accused……breathe deeply now….of being a sexist.

Shocking, I know.  But dead wrong.  Let me put something in perspective for you.  I am 56 years old.  I am 6’2” and weigh about 205lbs (yes, I would like to trim some cheesecake from the belt line……but that would require me to stop eating cheesecake…..so you see the dilemma).  If Toby Keith was right and he ain’t as good as he once was, I am no longer as good as I THOUGHT I was.  But the other day I was picking my wife up some non-recognizable chai something or other from a STARBUCKS located in our supermarket.  There were two young (er) female city police officers in there getting their, probably much needed, jolt of caffeine.  Both of these officers looked to weigh about a buck ten, WITH vest, gun belt, gun, tazer, radio, cuffs and assorted gear.  By my eyeballing I weighed about what the two of them in full kit weighed TOGETHER.  And with that gear, even in my broken down state, I am PRETTY sure I could out run them.  Maybe not the tazer and certainly not the Glock, but on foot….probably.

Now, I am a law abiding citizen….for the most part, and if stopped but one of these officers for any reason, I am going to be cooperative; I have nothing to hide and they have a job to do.  BUT THAT IS ME, and we have a number of confinement facilities here with burgeoning populations that would indicate that I am NOT absolutely in the main stream.  What I mean to say is that, at my age, size, weight and nominal speed, if I did NOT want to cooperate with one of these young officers, there is probably not a whole lot they could do without back up, without shooting me with something, and putting themselves at risk.

And I am sure that they are fine young people, I will not argue that they didn’t excel at the admission test, or at least do well, and the same for their performance at the academy.  I am not even going to suggest that the standards for them and for their male counterpart applicants were not the same.  What I AM going to suggest is that one of these officers, on patrol, alone, answering a call on someone my size, possibly armed (and that is a sure bet for me….I was when I was in the store with them), possibly under the influence of something mind altering (no danger with me, but you get my point)……is no match for what is on the other side of the door when they arrive.

Not me, I am a law abiding citizen, I am a fan of law enforcement at the local, person to person level….I like them, and like I said, I am cooperative.

Because I want to be.  No law enforcement officer, regardless of race, color or sex is going to be endangered by me…that is just the kinda guy I am.  But I am also not “everyman” of stage history…and I am certainly not everyman in this town.

We set ourselves up for failure when we let artificial requirements drive selection of our people for jobs.  How many of our police officers must be women, that need men to help them subdue a suspect before we get one killed just because?

A few years ago, in Saint Louis, a black female who had NEVER passed a basic physical fitness test to be a fire fighter, won a court case allowing her to be a firefighter.  Want to guess why?  Let’s just say that I hope you are near the door on the ground floor if your Saint Louis abode bursts into flames and she answers the call.

Also in Saint Louis, at about the same time, a handful of black fire fighters SUED the city because they were not selected for Chief of their house.  All of them had failed the selection test, and a few had not even taken it.  Guess what?  Yep.

Two nights ago I encountered one of our local confinement facility correction officers in Wal Mart (a real Wal Mart….not the people of Wal Mart web page), who was an absolute comic book character.  She was a full foot shorter than me and had me by about 75lbs.  Her ankles were the size of my thighs (keep in mind that I am not a skeleton by any stretch), and her boots would barely lace.  Her uniform looked like she had pulled it straight from the laundry hamper…but at least her baby was asleep and quiet in the buggy.  And I thought “what POSSIBLE deterrent is this CO to anyone?  An inmate outside of the bars on the hoof around this woman is as good as a free man.  I literally could not envision a role she could play as a CO given her size and comportment.

Sexist?  More like realist.

We are going to get ourselves killed.  And I am not speaking in any progressive double speak.  This reverence for diversity at all costs is one day going to cause 110 lb police officers to take an ass beating at the hands of a real criminal that does not care about diversity……if it is only an ass beating.  Some criminal is going to take it on the run as soon as he realizes that one of natures largest, slowest mammals is all that stands between him and his next crime spree.  A family is going to die in a house fire because a fire fighter doesn’t have the body strength to drag them to safety.  We will be diverse as shit, but there will be far less of us to celebrate it.

And after we kill each other through diversity and the complete inability to speak the truth about these things out loud, we will do the same thing to our society and our nation…..and we have an early lead on that with our media and “activists” among us now.  The only logical conclusion to this trend is a bad one.

None of this may prove to you that I am not a sexist, and I will be frank, the way the term is used along with racist and feminist, I don’t have a firm grasp of the approved definition, other than the idea of it pisses progs off to no end, and I am fine with that.  And I know that this is long, but let me offer this for addition to my bonafides.  When I was a fairly new major, I had responsibility for a portion of the aviation officer basic course at Fort Rucker, AL.  After every lieutenant finished flight school, they came to me and my instructors for six weeks and we force fed them six weeks of field training, tactics and physical torture.  One evening I received a phone call in my quarters from a lieutenant colonel, battalion commander at Fort Hood, TX.  He purported to be calling on behalf of a female lieutenant in his battalion that was being told by big Army that she would not make it for selection to captain because of the final report that I had given to her while in school.  He cajoled me and tried to flank me and I finally cut him off and said that I would not write a letter to the board saying I was wrong, but that I WOULD write a letter saying that I do believe, if confronted with evidence contrary to the performance I had witnessed, that the lieutenant could have developed into a competent officer under the proper leadership and mentorship.  The lieutenant colonel put the brakes on immediately and said “I see what is happening here.”  When I allowed as how it was good that one of us did, he said “You probably don’t know that I am a graduate of DEOMI”  I told him I was unfamiliar with the acronym and he told me “The Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.  I am a black officer.”  I told him that I would have never guessed that there was a DEOMI and that when he identified himself as an LTC battalion commander, his skin color never occurred to me.  He then said that he could tell that I had rated the lieutenant so lowly because she was a woman.  My reply was “Sir, I gave her that rating because she performed like shit.  I have been at this more than a day or two, and if it helps you sleep at night, my highest ranked officer in the last 12 months was also a woman who is doing quite well in the Army at the moment.  And I have changed my mind about that letter”.  He then said that he would discuss this with my battalion commander, and he never did (my boss said that if the other man was going to call him about the issue, he would have called him first).

My point?  I know what I am doing on these issues, and I know what is right in these issues.

And diversity for the sake of saying you have enough women, blacks, black women, or Serengeti gazelles, will never be right in any issue if it puts people at risk.

And that is not sexist.

Let’s wade into this minefield, shall we?  Of course I am referencing the collapsed bridge in Florida.  A good deal has been made of the fact that the company that built the bridge was a majority female company (though its’ owners were male).

Now, do I believe that this company is on the hook because it is comprised of so many incompetent females?  No, I do not BELIEVE that is the reason.  I BELIEVE that it is made up of so many incompetent females because of the government.

Here is how it works, and this is only anecdotal because you don’t actually know me (and if you do, don’t admit it for your own sake).  The government is married to the horrific social engineering tool of diversity.  There will be more of my opinion on this when I write the book that makes me a millionaire, but for now, take this to the bank; there is NO, not one, scintilla of evidence that “diversity” benefits any productivity or quality whatsoever….and for those of you that just wet your pants at that comment, I would merely ask you to prove it, not to your liking, but to PROVE it.  It sounds nice; I am better and my environment is better for being with people of other races that bring different perspectives on life and issues and blah, blah, blah.  That is crap and you know it.  I am BETTER and my environment is BETTER is someone of ANY race brings smarter, better ideas and better experiences to the situation than my own.  Sex, race, I do not care….those are, or should NEVER be a qualification for a job.

That aside, here is how it works.  The government is married to diversity in the name of political correctness.  This requires “set asides” in contracting.  In theory contractors provide the government with services that the government cannot provide itself because it hamstrings itself through politically correct, diversity laws.  So the government contracts for services it has regulated itself out of providing.  I know that would never be the STATED position, but practice shows that it is.  But the disease has broken out of the laboratory and the same rules that apply to government employees now apply to contractors.  So, it is not enough that a major aerospace engineer company comes to the government complete with people, experience and knowledge to meet a contract requirement; that company must “partner” with a “small, minority or women owned” business.  If the company partners with a veterans company, the company is more likely than not required to be owned by a disabled vet (and disabled encompasses a number of disabilities that just come with age).  My company partners with a veterans owned company that actually does some very good work and provides some very good, very qualified people with a wide range of professional experiences.  Another company has chosen to partner with a native American owned company that is also a family owned company with no experience in the field, but by diversity rules alone, meets the requirements.  THAT company will do EXACTLY what a native American owned company here in town did with their company; the company was owned by a native American tribe in the local area, whose claim to fame was a kick-ass casino not far from here.  And not a single member of management was native American, nor were any of the people working the contract jobs.  They were, with few exceptions, white males because, with few exceptions it was white males that had the skill set for the job.

And that is how it works; it is a program that benefits nobody, least of all the tax payer, to pay homage to diversity, which has yet to proven to provide a benefit.

And that is where our bridge building company went awry.  Whether or not the male ownership and leadership actually BELIEVE they are doing a great service by hiring a huge female work force of bridge builders and designers, or not, I do not know.  Whether or not they feel forced to do that, or not, I do not know.  Or, and this would be a real tragedy; whether or not they hire so many female engineers because they are true believers that, in this world, we have an abundance of female bridge designers and engineers who are every bit as good as their male counterparts……well, I do not know that either.

But, what are the odds that, in our nation today, we have so many female bridge designers and builders that we would make an entire project their near exclusive domain, using a technology that is as agreed upon as global warming among “experts”?  How would it be conceivable that men would not dominate that field or AT LEAST not have parity?  I for one, am not buying it.

It is inevitable that such obvious favoritism would draw some negative comments and comparisons……just as inevitable that, in todays’ world (or in todays’ America) those cannot be discussed in public.  The fact that the bridge building technique has yet to be accepted as an industry standard and has some fairly significant shortcomings is almost an aside.  What I can say with complete confidence is that the bridge failure would be getting far more coverage (notice it was off of the news within a week, giving way to the far more important news coverage of the latest Trump shortcoming) had the bulk of the design / build team had been veteran men.

So, do I believe that the bridge collapsed because it was designed and built by women?  I don’t.  I come much closer to believing that it would not have collapsed if the prevailing, driving force in choosing the design / build team had been in selecting the best team.

Regardless of sex.

There is a reason for this story….so hang in there.

A few years ago, in a land far, far away……okay, it was 30 years ago, and in West Germany, I took off in a US Army, AH1 Cobra with a warrant officer of exceptional talent, but somewhat dicey German.  He SPOKE the language, complete with southern dialect, but I think most Germans thought his pronunciation was a little askew.  I spoke “High German”, like the German version of the Kings English, which always got me through, but got me a few strange looks.  Once we took off to the east, we had to fly through the Nuernberg Control Zone enroute to the East/West German/Czechoslovakian border, and we had to announce our intentions and ask for the appropriate clearance.

Keep in mind, the international language of flight, to include air traffic control, is English.

On this day John thought he would blow the cobwebs from his German and called the tower and in perfectly understandable German announced our flights presence, complete with tail number and intentions and asked for the appropriate clearance to transition the control zone.  After a slight delay the controller responded “Army 1,2,3,4,5…..are you an American?”  “jawhol!” answered John.  “Speak in English please” said the tower operator.

Now, THAT was funny, and we laughed about it and I STILL find it comical.

On another occasion, same time frame, I ordered a Big Mac, Fries and Coke Lite in a McDonalds and the girl behind the counter said, in perfect English “Will that be a small, medium or large coke lite?”  I felt somewhat awkward until I found out that she had spent a year in Iowa as an exchange student (an experience that she allowed as how could have done without and not missed anything).

Through 10 years in Europe I got to try Italian, German, Dutch, French, Polish, Czech (German), Austrian (German) and even Greek.  I sucked at all of them, but I tried.  And except for the condescending French bastards, EVERYONE appreciated that I was not a native, AND DID NOT EXPECT THEM TO SPEAK ENGLISH TO ME.  And, they usually spoke English to me when we got through the pleasantries, because, and this will come as a shock to the progressives……ALMOST EVERYBODY SPEAKS ENGLISH…..it comes from us English speakers being the dominant CIVILIZATION in the history of the world.

Again, except for the French, it was normal.  When I served briefly with a French unit, they provided me with an interpreter, a young lieutenant, because they simply accepted that I was no more going to speak French than they were going to speak English….it was not an insult, it was merely the way they did business.

But we cannot get past ourselves in America….there is literally no stink the left cannot make in order to attempt to prove their supremacy, their dominance of correct and pure thought.  And this BS with interior secretary Grienkie is a prime example.  If you speak another language, other than English, especially if that is part of your heritage……wouldn’t you be FLATTERED if someone TRIED to communicate through that language?  So they butcher it, which I have done, and you politely correct them, and shift into English.  But, for the life of me, I cannot imagine that being offensive to anyone….it isn’t a slur, it isn’t derogatory, it is, or should be, a gesture meant to flatter.

Jeff Flake....always living up to his name

Man….can you believe someone as completely inconsequential as Arizona’s Jeff Flake, is still making noise WITHOUT being a registered democrat?

So, Flake is upset with Trump for firing McCabe…..there’s is a shocker, right?  I mean, Flake, who has been TOTALLY useless to the GOP….sort of like a tall, white, male, GOP version of Maxine Waters in the house, hasn’t like Trump or a thing about him since he heard the name.  Flake who is a democrat in all but acclaimed party affiliation…..he is upset with Trump over firing a traitor (I suspect Flake knows that his ass would have been fired yesterday if Trump had the authority)…..big surprise.

But the part of this story that caught my interest was Flake referring to last weeks special election in Pennsylvania as a “five alarm fire” for the GOP.  That seems like strong language coming from one of the leading arsonists in the GOP.

I promised a few readers that I would clean up my language….but I am sorry, Jeff Flake is a selfish, crybaby douche.  The democrat party will be lucky to have him.
