YOU ARE LIKE HITLER....NO...YOU ARE LIKE HITLER!!!!!

In the old Time Life Book Series on WWII, there is an edition titled simply “The Nazi’s”.  On page 128 starts a section on the school system in Nazi Germany.  The section is entitled “A Primer for Hate”.

How convenient.

Since the left, especially since the election of 2016, is more fond than ever of “comparing” President Trump to Hitler, and castigating conservatives as hate mongers; even having their failed candidate tour overseas portraying the Presidents policies as those of hate…..I thought it might be interesting to ACTUALLY compare the lefts’ “hate”, with that of Hitler, and what the lefts’ policies have wrought here in the US.

In Nazi Germany, all school teachers had to belong to the national socialist teachers league (a state union), and swear fealty to Hitler and the cause of national socialism.   I am sure most of you would find at least some parallels between the NSTL and our own NEA, NOT THAT THE TEACHING FOCUS IS THE SAME, so don’t straw man me on the issue.  But the fealty thingie….there are more than a few parallels between everyone getting on board the national socialist curriculum, and  everyone here getting on the progressive curriculum, which they have.

In the German universities, those professors that failed to embrace and toe the national socialist line soon found themselves out of work, and the universities that did not fall in line found themselves closed.  Degrees in crap that did nobody any good outside of the NAZI agenda sprang up, much like some of our useless degrees in womens studies, Minority (pick one) studies, and the like; useless degrees outside of furthering the progressive agenda.

In German literature, entire books were published on the inferiority of the Jews, the Slavs, Africans and other un-dsireables, and curriculum developed to teach those books.  Here, in progressive America our institutions and professors routinely re-write history, mis-interpret history and the facts, and teach a curriculum that doesn’t target Jews (but it will one day, rest assured), but the white male. 

In German communications, print and radio were focused on getting out the message of anti-jewery, the Jewish connection to the communist soviets (which I have never understood), and the role the Jews played in losing WWI; much like our media gets out the message of Iran, ISIS, Islam, BLM, ANTIFA and anti-gun propaganda, indeed the entire progressive agenda, with laudatory presentation.  In Nazi Germany the effort was spearheaded by Joseph Goebbels, in the US by CNN.

In Nazi Germany you could lose your job or your life, through standing up for Jews, for espousing Christianity, for openly questioning the NAZI order, for having differing opinions.  In progressive America you can lose your job for the exact same things in the name of inclusiveness, diversity or a host of other identity politics rooted issues; this happens daily.

In Nazi Germany, workers were forced to turn over significant portions of their income to the military and infrastructure causes; in progressive America, workers are forced to give over significant portions of their income to social welfare programs.

In Nazi Germany, if the government did not like what you were doing, the government would make a law prohibiting that.  In progressive America if the progressives do not like what you are doing, or want you to do something else, they will try and force the government to make a law either prohibiting or mandating a change in your behavior.

In Nazi Germany the different states fell in line with the NAZI government, or felt the wrath of that government.  In progressive America, progressive states decide what the hell they will and will not do, irrespective of any law.

And like the book depicted, the schools, and then society WAS a primer for hate.

And maybe you do not want to hear it called hate….maybe that offends your sensibilities (“offense” being a great tool, only available to be used by progressives as a form of shutting down discourse).  Maybe you are perfectly comfortable with hiring someone unqualified, or marginally qualified for a job because of affirmative action; the government and companys’ that work with the government do it all of the time, to the point that your identity IS the qualification for the job.  I suppose you should be lucky you are not Jewish in that case.  Perhaps having Chuck Schumer lie to you in calling Congressman Nunez a liar is a good thing for you……Nunez is not one of you, he should be marginalized.  Maybe Hillary Can convince you that women didn’t vote for her because their men told them not too.  You might live for your dose of Maxine Waters, Joy Behar, Joy Reynolds, M&M (I know that is not how he spells it), Whoopi Glodberg, Barbara Lee, Jerry Brown, Nancy Pelosi, attacking your core beliefs and shutting down your ability to fight back.  Having BLM or ANTIFA tear assing through the streets may be your version of brotherly love.  BUT TO ME….when Hillary, or Nancy, Or Maxine, or any liberal compare President Trump to Hitler…..it seems that a comparison of Hitler to themselves would be more apt.  When they call the Americans stupid, backwards looking, clingers…..that seems like a comparison that should be reserved for the democrats when challenged.  When their “resistance” is a revolt against law and order and established government, aren’t the democrats more like the NAZI’s than are the conservatives?  When schools no longer teach history, civics, THE TRUTH, or even transferable skills (because in the end, aren’t we ALL looking to hire a women’s studies masters degree holder) because those do not serve the agenda…isn’t that more in line with the NAZI’s than conventional, fact based, reality based studies, or programs that prepare people for real life?

In this nation, comparisons to Hitler and to National Socialism that are made by the progressives towards others SHOULD be reserved for progressives themselves.  Hitler took the Weimar Republic, throttled it in the grave and replaced it with National Socialism.  The progressives are taking the Constitutional government which they made sick, and doing the same.

One last thought.

I hear all of the time that the progressives, or the modern left has strayed from the traditional liberal platform.  I think that is a lie.  In my lifetime you can see the inexorable march from JFK through Obama of the “progressive over reach” of the traditional liberal.  The progressives haven’t destroyed the liberal platform….they are realizing it.
