The silver lining of democrat corruption

Mark Pocan is a democrat party congressman from Wisconsin (funny, I can never picture myself saying “conservative congressman from Wisconsin“).  This man did not even wait for the smoke to clear on his firing before offering Andrew McCabe a job.  Although the job offer is esoterically described as one of performing election security, nobody even questions the reality that it is to keep McCabe on the federal payroll long enough that he could retire with a full pension.

BUT….just suppose that Pocan is not thumbing his nose at America, the taxpayer that pays the pension, the FBI itself and especially President Trump, and the offer IS for election security (which I am pretty sure McCabe has no clue about), check out Pocan’s statement.  “My offer of employment to Mr. McCabe is a legitimate offer to work on election security.  Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of American democracy and both Republicans and Democrats should be concerned about election integrity.”

Now, when I went to bed last night I can honestly say that I do not recall a democrat EVER taking this sort of line considering voter fraud or election security.  EVER.  And, though in my younger days I will admit to waking up on several occasions, completely unaware of how I got there, today I awoke in my own bed and Pocan has changed the entire leftist, democrat party narrative on elections.  Forget McCabe for now; clearly in Pocan’s view the issue is election integrity, and in typical leftist tradition, if you have a problem with McCabe working on the security of the election, then you are against election integrity.

Who knew?  Who could have even guessed?  Who would have ever thought that a democrat, a DEMOCRAT mind you, would have such angst over election integrity that he would hire a deposed, disgraced, lying, FBI head, an attorney by trade, who would coincidentally remain on the payroll long enough to gain a full pension (and probably not a moment longer), because only HE can insure election integrity, which the left has religiously and historically been against in any form?  I can hardly type it, let alone right it, and haven’t even TRIED to say it out loud.

I suppose…..I mean for arguments sake only, I suppose that the concern of Mr Pocan is that there is TOO MUCH election integrity (such as it is), and that McCabe is THE MAN to ensure that that nonsense is brought to an end…..that would make sense….and given the transparency of the lefts anti-American operations these days I can imagine that scenario.

But a far more likely scenario, and one that we all know is in play here, is that Pocan is indeed doing an end run, offering a job to McCabe (and I am betting Pocan does not have that authority, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves) to prove a point; that President Trump may not handle the members of his cabinet in his own manner, a latitude unquestioned in past Presidencies, to protect McCabe until the lefts’ henchman Mueller can sort through all of McCabes “notes” on Donald Trump, that the democrats can always stop this President…..

……and end election integrity in the process.  Two or more birds with a single stone.
