Buddy, can you spare some cocaine…..and maybe a used car?

Buddy, can you spare some cocaine…..and maybe a used car?

I have held forth on this in the past, but it bares re-visiting.  This story really does represent the nexus of the political and legal corruption of the left, the moral bankruptcy of the media, and the ignorance of the liberal.

When originally published, or originally ignored, you could find out almost NO details about this story….indeed as the article at the link points out, the “serious” media ignored it outright…..it had its’ quota of anti-Trump stories it had to create and could not be bothered with this.  Even now, in this re-visiting of the story there is a key element left out, probably not intentionally but simply because the tale of corruption is so mind boggling large that eating the entire elephant at one setting would overwhelm the average news consumer.

If you remember, the entire investigation didn’t start because of a drug connection, but because it was suspected /  discovered that Palestinian / Syrian / Iranian agents were laundering money through……used car sales in the United States.  Now, I am not a money laundering expert.  I know that congress launders ours into a multitude of failed programs annually, but in terms of thug on the street, RICO style laundering, I am largely ignorant.  I do not understand how money is laundered through used car sales and that connection to a billion dollar drug trade that aids Palestinian terror / acts of war against pretty much everyone not living in their shithole.  But I do understand this.

At the time this entire thing started heating up, and we did not know about it as American citizens given that there was ZERO transparency in the last administration (thanks to the media), a government program called “Cash For Clunkers” was bankrolled by the federal government (with our tax dollars).  True to form of all Keynesian economic thought, and Obama, statist execution, the program was a failure.  Instead of money for the program coming from the original spending bill it came out of deficit spending.  Far from being a zero sum gain program, the program cost more than $1.4 billion than projected (there is a shocker, eh?).  No new jobs were added to the payrolls, and the program aided the environment none at all.  Salvage costs were well above forecasted, and there is no accurate count by vin that all of the cars redeemed in the program were actually scrapped.  The big three automakers did sell down inventory to the lowest point in years, but in the nine months after the three month program ended, new car sales screeched to a halt, the temporary high evaporating like any drug infused euphoria.  The program was touted by the administration as being a success, a claim only believable if you literally interpreted every metric indicating failure as a success; this was a legendary example of calling evil good.  And of course, plenty of people bought into it.

The important thing to know, from research available to the common man, is that the $3 Billion venture, COST the taxpayer just under $5 billion with no measurable benefit.  The money is gone the scrapped cars are gone, and some functioning cars are gone.  No jobs, no increased output, not even the nebulous “green economy” effect.  Cash for clunkers was a demonstrable dud.

But, it was AFTER this stunning failure that the DEA began the operation Cassandra program which involved Palestinian agents involved in laundering drug money in the US….and it was discovered that the laundering tool used for this drug money was…..used cars.

What are the odds?  What ARE the odds.  And the question for me, and for YOU, should be….not “what are the odds that the cash for clunkers program was linked to an Obama administration effort to launder money for, and thus finance the Palestinians in their jihad against Israel”, but rather “what are the odds that the cash for clunkers program was NOT linked to an Obama administration effort to launder money for, and thus finance the Palestinians in their jihad against Israel”.

And as you ruminate on that, consider this…..this is the administration that targeted Israel through the UN.  This is the administration that released more than a dozen Iranian agents from custody for “health reasons”.  This was the administration that slowed but fully funded an Iranian development of a nuclear device.  This was the administration that shipped pallets of cash to Iran, undercover of darkness, in an unmarked plane.  This is the administration that welcomed back, in the form of Bo Berghdahl, a traitor, whose actions led directly to the death of American service members, saying that he served with honor.  This is the administration that allowed a completely predictable assault on our embassy in Libya and blamed it on a video.  This is an administration that called a muslim murderer at Fort Hood the perpetrator of work place violence.

I know, I see you rolling your eyes….and I get it…..you are thinking that my idea that cash for clunkers was an administration sponsored, taxpayer funded, ruse to fund the Palestinians under the radar is just an anti-Obama conspiracy theory……that there is no evidence….

…..which is the same amount of evidence the administration has that cash for clunkers was a success.
